It's hard to explain.  The way I perceive him anyway.  He claims he is real and tells nothing but truth.  I actually liked him and subscribed to his channel when he was just starting up.  He did seem genuine.

He posts a video everyday.  Sometimes more than one video a day.  So he has a ton of content out there.  Since I was a fanboy of him I watched and absorbed every video he made.

Here are some of his "signature" characteristics that started me to dislike him:

1.  Sexual innuendos.  These are fine if that's what floats your boat but he will end it by blaming you, the viewer.  He will paint it as you are the one with the dirty mind.

2.  His hate for vegetables.  Again, this is fine.  Everyone is different.  But he will make comments that veggie eaters are out of their mind.  And guess who he is referring to:  his viewers.

3.  He lies.  Yes, I believe he does.  He will claim he never did, experience, or seen something but if you follow his videos closely you will realize he has done it or seen it or experienced it before.

4.  He disrespects.  I think his desire to increase his channel, clicks, views, and subscriptions blinds him to the fact that he does not realize he is being disrespectful.

5.  He will not apologize.  Even though his viewers call him out on something offensive or disrespectful, he will not apologize.  Again, I think his desire to increase his content overshadows common ethics in vlogging.

I think this video, where he collaborates with Tim Lee, will show what I'm trying to say.  This was bound to happen and a large portion of his viewers were not happy with his behavior.  If you read the comments that followed the video you will see that it actually changed his future behavior in his videos.

I saw the vid.  I didnt' see anything that was disrespectful like how the comments mention.

He told RC that he's American with regard to eating weird things. Like the pigs blood.  Most people won't eat it as it's an acquired taste.  Danny often mentions how he doesn't eat chicken feet and how Tung loves it.  No one complains.

Tim overall seems more PC than Danny is.  I look forward to Danny's humor as it makes the vids interesting.  Comapre this to say All you Can Vegas, they're boring as it's just about food and no cool stories.  Which is why I only watch their Vegas vids and no other ones as they won't interest me as I dont' go to CA.

But to each their own. If you find him a certain way, then that's fine.  You have your own opinions.

What I do find intereting is it appeared that Danny was taking a smoke break outside.  If he is a smoker, the 2 times I met him, I never smelt smoke on him.

I was in Vegas for a week end of Aug. It certainly oha changed a lot since what I remember from pre-COVID. That said, reasons and “approach” in going to Vegas has changed a lot over the last 5 years or so.

I went stayed at Aria and Venetian, but went to Downtown often. Big difference in areas as well as which days. Since I was there for (9) days, I saw stark difference between Mon-Thu and Thu-Sun. Some venues seemed to have less drop off between the “rush days” than others.

Talking with locals, Uber drivers, etc most commented about how times have changed and “times are rough”. Nothing new or not mentioned above, but seemed like that’s all folks were talking about.

I don’t enjoy Vegas as much as I used to, nor do I have the burning desire to go to Vegas as before. It’s ok though. It is what it is. I still enjoy going to Vegas, but nowadays I’d rather travel to other destinations.

How were the tables?  My friend came back this past week and he's a pai gow and bacarat player.  he got smoked. Even on face up paigow, which is usually a push.  He would lose 8 hands in a row.  Same with bacarat. No matter what he bet, he lost.

I saw a youtuber do interviews Miki Maski or something like that.  He says how they can rig the show/machine for cards being dealt.  I find most of what he says as BS and his vids are for entertainment purposes. Can casinos rig shoes, of course, but if they were ever caught that would be the end of them. Do they do other things to throw off your game, of course and that has been done for generations.  Like changing the stickman more often during a hot shooter.  But if you believe in math, then this action has zero effect.

if you believe in the math, you will not believe in a "hot roller" or hot/cold table...

This trip, I didn’t play much on tables. Mostly live poker. Played craps, BJ, bac, etc here and there. It was same to me.

In that particular video, Tim did apologize and acknowledged that the scripted antics went a bit too far.  So, he also was complicit in what the content of the video shows.

There were two comments made by Danny the Medic in the COMMENTS section of this video where he posted under another channel that he has.  He mentioned that he will not apologize whatsoever because he did not do anything wrong.

This brought another uproar among not only Danny's viewers but Tim's viewers also, where they mentioned that Tim should not feature Danny in any of his future videos.  Some of Tim's viewers even threatened to unsubscribe and unfollow him.

Danny's comments have since been deleted.  But the comments on his rudeness and disrespect continued.

Like CMO mentioned, some people felt that the others are over-reacting.  It was all in fun.

However if I may, I would like to point out one part that Danny said @ 10:57 of the video: "Let me drive you back to CIVILIZATION".

For Tim and Danny to choose to act this way toward Filipino food while their Chinese ethnic foods also have it's share of "questionable" cuisine is beyond me.  If anything, make fun of your own culture.

Anyway, I thanked Tim for acknowledging that their intentions went a bit too far.  I mentioned to him that he is partly to blame since it is his channel and under his control.

Just my POV, the fact that Danny didn't apologize and stated that he won't, I have more respect for him.  I mean, he still likes to CCW a revolver, so he lost some there. lol

Interesting video.  It looks like it was released only hours ago yet it starts by talking about the Mirage planning to close it's casino and hotel.  The Mirage is nothing but dirt.  There's nothing there.  But construction.

Then talks about the buffets and the Cosmopolitan doing the cafeteria style.  That happened during the pandemic.

I dunno.  If that's what the vegas landscape will be starting next January I'm glad I'm going late December.

Might be my goodbye trip to an old friend.

We stayed at Mirage once.  It was precovid and the place was empty.  I don't remember when, but back then we usually went after Memorial Day weekend.  And it was a sausage fest. So I can see why they sold to Hard Rock as they weren't making much money.  We only stayed there because at that time, Palazzo wasn't giving us comps yet as we didn't play there at all.  At that time, we used the My Vegas rewards for rooms, but still had to pay out of pocket.  We also stayed at Planet Hollywood at that time.

We enjoy YellowProductions vids.  I remember 1 vid he was walking from Wynn to Resorts World and was being yelled at by a crazy guy.  We also watch his Asia vid, esp the Taiwan ones.

My friend is in Vegas last week.  He said that the places he normally needs a RSVP to eat, he can just walk in without waiting.  He goes every 2 months and stays at Aria.  1 place he mentioned was Din Tai Fung that always has a 20 min wait for walk ins.  A few days ago, none.  Maybe people are avoiding more also due to the F1 starting.

To address the 90,000 rooms being empty in Vegas:

The CEO's admit that they are catering to the higher end Vegas visitor (the whales).

And they don't want the "savvy" gambler/visitors.  These are the experienced visitors that know the best odds on games, know the player programs and how to take advantage of them, know the games that has the lowest house edge, etc. etc.

But I think they were still banking on the "newbie" Vegas visitors.  These are the clueless, come of age people that don't know any better and just want to have a great time.  They don't know anything about which games to play or which slots have better pay-outs.  And they don't know or care that that bottle of beer they bought for $11 cost only $3 a couple of years ago.

I believe these are the people the CEO's were hoping to fill those empty rooms left by the more savvy players.  These people will be willing to pay the resort fees, parking fees, and $50 burgers and $26 waters that are now defining the Strip.

Problem is, we live in the social media age.  Where information is shared and available in a microsecond.  People are sharing and in that sharing is valuable information and experiences being absorbed by the newbies prior to them visiting Vegas.

Maybe the CEO's overlooked this aspect and now the "newbies" are also informed about the rip-offs waiting for them in Vegas.

And they too, are not coming.

I just can't see how the CEO's and their cohorts can just bank on the whales alone.

Whales don't occupy regular rooms, don't eat at McD's and the like, and won't be seen dead at the Food Halls, what few buffets are left, and the ABC's and Walgreens that dot the landscape of the Strip.

The whales will look around, see all the empty places and say "F*ck this, this is boring, I'm going somewhere else......"

this is the path Hawaiinis taking. We want "eco" tourists..the so-called high end tourists. On top of tjat we want tourists to "give back" i.e. plant taro etc. Yeah, how many people want to do labor whike on vacay?!
