Milk the cash cow for all it's worth.  Then leave.  What a puke.
Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

i was predicting this would happen soon after other gun rights groups began making headlines for all the wins they achieved inside -- and outside -- of the courtroom.

The NRA should have been leading the charge to wipe the floor with unconstitutional gun control laws post bruen, but they seemed to be content to sit back and let the anti-gun Blue States thumb their noses at the Supreme Court.

The impression I got was the NRA WANTS all these anti-gun bills and limitations so they will have something scary to put in their fund raising packets.  Without some boogeyman threatening to take our guns, the "collection plates" are nowhere near as full.

the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

^^^This, they're the biggest gun group.  Granted Bruen was their lawsuit, but a broken clock is right twice a day.  For decades the NRA wasn't as involved as they should have been.  Even though lawsuits only part of their org.  Gun education and legislation is another part, so not all their $ can go toward lawsuits.

I'm not a NRA member for the sole reason that they don't get involved much in HI for lawsuits. I rather give my money to HIFICO.  I also don't donate to FPC until they do a HI lawsuit. But they are doing more for other states than the NRA is doing.

What other pro 2a states don't realizes is what happens in 1 anti 2a state will eventually make it's way over to their state.  So a national org really needs to help the anti 2a states more.

What the NRA needs to do now is get rid of likes of Willis K. Lee and the rest of those who subscribe to his bullshit then rebuild the NRA back into a stronger organization that fully supports all 50 states and territories. Build the muscle and grow a set of balls to smash those who even think about trying to stifle the 2A. Go for the jugular of those anti 2A ball lickers once and for all. When I see that happening, I’ll consider joining once again. :geekdanc:

Lee got released from the executive board last year without his knowledge, and was notified with a letter slid under his door.

An objective look at the NRA and what this resignation might mean.
