Guess, I'll be doing this until I take lunch.   :shaka:

Been doing this periodically throughout the day. I swear the anti's are doing the same thing though. At one point every time I voted, the "not strict enough" would go up by one or two votes too.

Voted more than a few times.  I guess public sentiment trumps facts.

Typical...

Whether its more background checks, longer wait periods, or whatever they have one choice...Not strict enough (43%, 1,421 Votes).

Pro 2a people can choose: Too strict (37%, 1,230 Votes) & Adequate (20%, 637 Votes). That's 57% and I take it as some want reduced restrictions and others want to keep the status quo. Clearly there's no consensus even among gun owners and polls like this are set up to prevent a clear answer.

We should all remember that, in light of recent events, reducing restrictions is NOT going to happen so voting "Adequate" is the only smart choice.

I wonder how many of those voting "Not Strict Enough" are even cued into what goes into our existing gun laws? I'm betting that vote means less about how strict they know our laws to be and more about whether they're just anti-gun or not. At least the educated half are starting to get their votes in too now. Good work 2a.

What are the people who are voting 'not strict enough' even thinking? Hawaii has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation. Crazy. Oh, and I voted.

I voted earlier also.  Funny - I don't remember a poll about whether the knife laws here were strict enough or not after that meth head went into the Long's Drugs, bought a kitchen knife and stabbed that teacher to death in broad daylight.  Or whether there should be stricter requirements on motorcycles for instance.  Or am I wrong?
