Media Bias- a sad look at where we are as a nation
« on: January 16, 2024, 03:12:00 PM »
Major networks won't cover Trump's victory speech.  They say he is making false claims.  Why don't they just cover the news and let Americans decide for themselves.  Do their job.  Unbiased coverage is what they are supposed to do.

Why don't they?

Because they are afraid.  Very afraid.

Joy Reid says the Iowa voters are racist.

She uses the time-proven formula: if the loser has brown skin, the reason was racism .... period.

If you control the flow of information, you control the people.

Those f*ckers did it again.  Won't air Trumps victory speech in NH.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/liberal-media-outlets-called-out-for-refusing-to-air-trump-s-new-hampshire-victory-speech/vi-BB1hct4z?ocid=msedgdhp&pc=U531&cvid=eb21017aacdf476d83c59491b51b7a06&ei=83

I think they are over-compensating for the 2016 election cycle when they did nothing but report minute by minute on the Trump campaign.  They now finally realized they actually helped get him elected by providing a free soapbox 24/7.

Now they are gun-shy and reluctant to give him any press at all for any reason unless the story is bad for him/his campaign.

This one doesn't worry me that much, with the internet we can all go and watch Trump's victory speech whenever we want and share it all we want. When they avoid covering stories then I get more worried because then I am less likely to know what is going on but a speech isn't a story, as long as I know there was an election I can go seek out a video of Trump talking if I want to hear what he said.

after seeing how the MSM cut out Trump's speech after Iowa, I watched the NH coverage on Rumble: Charlie Kirk, Steve Bannon covered it in its' entirety, live.  won't be watching MSM for that anymore, lesson learned.

Even YouTube cut the Charlie Kirk feed during the speech.  Just plain pathetic.  free speech being blatantly censored.  Doesn't suit THEIR narrative.  Meanwhile POTATUS tries his best to string 2 sentences together without going mumbo jumbo baby talk.

clown world.  Well, KJP is very emblematic as the clown.

Enjoy the mainstream corporate propaganda now because it won't be around much longer.

I'm retired, so I have some time to do as I please.
I peruse USA and world news daily. Mainly for local and scientific
news,  I ignore anything that can be politicized.
I used to stream talk radio, but Rush died.
Rush was informative entertainment,  not journalism.

Most media in the world is nothing but propaganda
But even Pravda has gems

You never read anything like that in USA MSM!  Yet I find it in Russian media!

Moral of the story is, you have to find the truth yourself, it isn't going to come from KHON,
KITV, or Star Advertiser.
Other than this site in reference to gun stuff, which I do recommend,
I won't recommend other sites to you.

Two of my parents were journalists and I dabbled in journalism in high school so this saddens me.

I think local media outlets like KITV, Star Advertiser, etc. tend to be a little better than the big national outlets.

Check out the radio show Armstrong & Getty out of California. They lean libertarian but they do a good job of covering stories from multiple outlets and interviewing experts to try and get a more accurate understanding. They are also quite hilarious.
