It's obvious the cart belongs to someone. But instead of returning it to the company, he chooses property damage instead.  The only place with orange carts at the time was Diaei.

At a Hilo apartment complex, there's a bunch of Costco shopping carts lying around.  The only Costco is in Kona a 3 hour drive away.

That is a hard one to believe, is it close to the subsidized housing areas before( North side of) the singing bridge?
I avoid going into Hilo and am mainly going on the main roads when I have to go there, but I've never seen
Costco carts there.  Seen about everything on the Bay front. but there are no apartments there.
