Maybe he should focus on his own house before telling the rest of us how to live.

From Nov 2022:

"National Felons League" - Uncovering the crime epidemic in the NFL
Quote
A number of media outlets, including Yahoo! Sports and CBS Sports, gave the NFL
a huge headache last week when they revealed that a staggering 27 players have
been arrested since the Superbowl in February, while a more recent report by USA
Today claims that number has risen to 31. That’s a ratio of over 6 arrests per month,
more than once a week, with crimes ranging from murder to misdemeanour DUI.
https://www.sportskeeda.com/nfl/national-felons-league-uncovering-the-crime-epidemic-in-the-nfl

Even if someone gets a misdemeanor DUI, they were operating a vehicle while impaired and putting everyone on or near a roadway in mortal danger -- including toddlers.

Statistically, the NFL sees about a 1% criminal arrest rate, where the population of men in the same age group is about 11%.  So, in spite of the perception caused by high profile celebrity players being arrested, there's not a statistical crime wave in the NFL.

That doesn't change my opinion that the players should be focusing on that 1% and not grandstanding and virtue signaling.  If someone playing football has a fantastic, workable solution, I'm all ears.  But to post emotional BS that amounts to advocating for infringing further on responsible and law abiding gun owners' 2A rights isn't going to change anything.

Elections.

Insurrections.

Wars.

Mass shootings.

Border Crisis.

Pandemics.

Super Bowls. (also known as the Stupid Bowl or BS Bowl.)

Pop Star whose boyfriend just happens to be on the winning superBS team.

What else.  Everything and anything goes nowadays.  No such thing as conspiracy theories anymore.

Only problem is when the lightbulb finally lights up way up there somewhere it's usually too late.

Roger that.

Last night there was some kind of NFL award show or something.  One player was complimenting all NFL players, saying they are shining role models and an inspiration to countless youths.

I laughed, shook my head, then changed the channel.

very disappointing.  just another reason to hate on the chiefs.  Missouri is a pro-gun state, as I recollect.  Might be a Bud Light moment for him, but he's arrogant, and loves to troll haters.  He'll bask in the controversy.

and of course he lives in a gated community.  isolated from the issues that plague the peasantry.

yup, I was rooting for the 49ers in this case, although knew all along that they only had a snow-balls' chance in hell.

So you guys hate an entire footsballs team because of one players opinion on a particular topic? You think ALL the other teams dont have one player or staff with a similiar opinion? What are we doing here?

Hrmm I was going to elaborate, but while thinking about it I realize this is just the opposite of idolize-ing. I guess some just have to put as much energy into hating as others do into loving. Forget what I said, its not important, carry on.

He's lumping all forum members in together to chastise us on lumping all KC players together.

Not unexpected.

I'm more interested in finding out who "we" are:  "What are we doing here?"

Guess I'm not cool enough to be lumped up with "you guys". I don't like Kelce, but was rooting for KC to win.

i guess i shoulda clarified.  I already hate the chiefs, have been rooting against them all season long.  'Murica!  I'm allowed.  We have favorites, and then we have the ones at the bottom of our lists.  of course, alas, much to my dismay ...
