you'll need to create an account, they require an email address.

This bill will ban just about all semi-auto rifles and shotguns, pistols over 50 oz (Desert Eagle), 50 cal rifles, pistols with one-or-more "evil" features, and limit everybody and everything to 10rd mags.  Very drastic.

good luck getting parts for your AR's, AK's, Saiga's if this one goes through.  This is big.  This one is Giant-normous.

Testimony due by 9:30am Thursday 22 Feb.  Phone calls also appreciated.

This is it, gang.  More than ever we need to all get into this.  Doesn't take that much time to submit testimony and there is time to do it.

Please do not procrastinate.  Let's not be the one who says I should have done something.

This is our chance to let our voices be heard. :shaka:

Everyone can email Marko from firearms international at info@firearmsinternational.us and ask for a template of his testimony in opposition to bill SB3196 and use that for testimony

its possible that they dont really count copy and pasted testimony, so try to make it your own if you have to do that. You can always just say that you "oppose the bill" instead of copy and pasting a testimony template.

Would that also go for the anti 2a testimony 🤷🏽  from the moms against or everytown groups? We’ll never know, but this is Hawaii and we know how they do.

it seems like they didn't count the form emails from the anti side...

Ok thanks for checking 🤙🏼

We don't like using copies or templates on our side.  Show's we're more credible and dedicated

It wasn't counted because it didn't say "support".

It was meant to be a petition and not testimony as the form was published prior to the hearing notice, perhaps before the legislature even started as there is no bill number.  Going through them, vast majority of the names don't reflect on Hawaii's demographics.  The addresses come from all over the State.  Probably spread through the Everytown private group or email list.

It seems like someone at everytown figured what the hell, why not throw it in.

One year I used FB and put in the names of the copy paste and all in the sample that I ran, about 20 of them listed HI as their home. But weird how none had any common friends on the friends list.

Folks go to this site to find your appropriate district representative to email as well.

I already submitted testimony at the OP's link above.

QUIETShooter

I sent an email opposing SB3196 to each of the Senate JDC Committee members, along with an email to Senator Dela Cruz who happens to represent my district.

I thanked them for their service to our State and communities and thanked them also for their commitment to their oath of office, which is to uphold and protect the Constitution of the United States and the State of Hawaii.

Threw that oath of office thing in there, in case they "forgot". ::)
