Actually, before the closure and partial reopen, I've been shooting at the bullseye side on weekends while a competition shoot was going on.  All of the positions on the left of the entrance were reserved.  Only the right side (facing down range) were available for practice.

Each time, I was made aware by the RSO that there would be additional cease fires to allow the competitors to check and change targets.  It was inconvenient for me, but not a major probelm.

All of the times I visited the range it does seem like the left side of the range always have their "regulars", whether it was an organized competition or just open shoot.
