20 years ago Kapiolani Blvd didn’t look like an outdoor insane asylum. There weren’t two acid attacks in as many months. The number of traffic fatalities was far lower along with the suicide rate for kids. Something is driving people insane in record numbers.

Sunday was a very sad day.  I saw the yellow tape from the freeway going east bound by Liliha.  Turned on my radio to the police district and didn't hear much as the incident did occur at 5:30 or so AM.  I thought it was potentially an Illegal gaming room and was right.  Driving East to Hawaii Kai However i did hear a very shaken officer on D7 radio requesting to RUSH EMS to the Manoa Scene.  The initial information i heard was possible "five delta".  Anyway i was in route to my Grandson's ball game.  Monitored more while at the game.  Also talked with my friend from one of the news channels.  He texted me information that wasn't posted as yet.  It was a VERY tragic day.  Aloha!

To me the saddest and most tragic thing to ever come out of this particular incident is this:

There was simply nothing anyone or anything that could have been done to prevent this.

There were no red flags, no indicators, no warning signals.

Evil never did nor will it ever emanate from a gun, knife, baseball bat, hammer or any other inanimate object.

We all know where evil dwells.  Politicians and LE will not admit it.
Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

KHON2 news said this was the 2nd most worst mass death event.  Uyesugi (Xerox) was 1st.

I wouldn't be surprised that our esteemed political leaders would use this to pass moar laws. Mandatory "welfare checks" by authorities if you have children. Knife bans. All LE will be credentialed psychologists. .....

I guess Pearl Harbor doesn't count.

All this SB3196 bill and/or any other f**kn bill our lame ass legislators/ senates wanna pass will and would not prevent any of this kind killings from happening. A person can do harm even with barehands. When bad things like this comes our way, the only life line we have atm is self defense. Oh wtf they thinking? They think evil will wait while we call the cops?

We may never learn what factors caused the man to flip his lid.

I have noticed that more people these days are not able to handle bad times.
It's just my observation.
The leftists preach the dogma of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
How about teaching people how to handle adversity?
They do not want people who can deal with bad times/news.
It's much easier to rule over weak, dependent, and needy people.

People have evolved into looking towards government for their safety and needs.

government in turn has used this to their advantage.

Our forefathers warned and were concerned about this and now it is a reality.

Darrell Huff did a segment saying back in 2021 he was in debt to his old landlord for $80K for a few years without paying rent.  This was settled for $50K, I can't remember when.  Huff reported that when he moved to Kapiolani area, business was much better. They bought their Manoa home for about $1million.

Then the next morning, KHON2 headline was that he's in financial trouble.

They should google "Mass knife attacks". They'd be surprised a whole list of knife attacks comes up. But yea, they only care if a gun was used. Heck, they don't even care about the victims. They just use the deaths as a example as to why guns is bad. Guns is their only narrative. WhY? MONEY!! Gun control is just plain and simple a money grab.. Nothing else they care about. I swear we have one of the most strict gun laws in the nation. And we all comply, yet they still wanna fuck with the gun laws more? Sorry guys.. goin off topic. But murders like this make's me angry. We don't know this family, but after seeing the picture, my wife even cried.

theres a cascade effect. Canada banned guns. People used knives. Theres no defense against knives because guns are banned. See where this is going.

They don't want to admit, it is not the weapon, but is the evil person misusing it.

People that don't like the America that we all know and love should go to Canada.

Instead of changing America, just go to Canada.

Newest development in the news is that Canada will prosecute you if you even write or think about certain "crimes of violence".

People that hate America love that kind of crap.

Still waiting for all those celebrities who said they would leave in 2016 if Trump was president to leave.

IDK if George Clooney every stated this, but he did leave and went to Italy. Only to move back a few months later cause the area was overrun with illegal aliens.  All those illegals that Italy and other EU countries that Trump warned them about by letting them all in.
