Did not find any news about a plane being shot at with a .50 Kal., but I read more incidents like these that are very concerning.

https://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/2024/03/18/man-arrested-after-allegedly-carjacking-woman-causing-multi-vehicle-pile-up/

Honolulu police arrested Sunday a 32-year-old man after he allegedly carjacked a woman in Waikiki then caused a multiple-vehicle pile-up on Kapiolani Boulevard.

The suspect faces multiple charges including, robbery, auto theft and outstanding warrants.

The incident happened just after 7 p.m.

HPD said the suspect violently carjacked a woman in the Waikiki area. He then drove off and crashed into at least six cars near the intersection of Kapiolani and Keaaumoku, near the Hawaii Convention Center.

Another one of many pukes out there that probably belong in jail.

our lawmakers just don't get it.  same with the people that repeatedly vote them into office, over and over.  certainly deserving of the label of libtards.

When it comes to these poor, deprived, angry and disrespectful criminals I think aloha is definitely warranted and must be used when dealing with them. I’ll practice it faithfully in any dealings I have with them…..just before I pull the trigger “aloha” will be the last thing they hear… :shaka:

To criminals hell bent on doing serious harm and worse to me or my loved ones it is the only type of Aloha I understand.

The chair of the Ala Moana Neighborhood Board, Kathleen Lee, said she is concerned
that repeat offenders are not being taken off the streets.

"A good amount of these incidents with individuals that have repeated offenses, I bring
up what happened with the intersection off of Kapiolani when we had our high school student
who got killed by someone with repeated offenses, so I hope we as a community do a better
job at enforcing better laws that make sure stuff like this does not happen," Lee said.

That tune's been played for decades here.  Perry & Price routinely made that point over and over whenever a criminal was finally arrested and in the news for their 70-something time breaking the law -- only this time they finally killed someone.

The revolving door at the local jail seems to be swinging like always.  Pointing out the obvious will get Ms. Lee a shiny pair of captain's bars, but it won't fix the problem.

Until a high profile corrupt politician's family is impacted, nothing's going to change.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
