Ahead of that event was a gathering of organizations wanting to voice their protest against a number of military operations around the globe. They spoke Monday just outside the headquarters of the US Pacific Fleet Commander.

“The state of Hawaii directly profits from and therefore allows an influx of over 30 militaries from foreign nations globally to participate in these war games in the name of so-called security and readiness,” said Imani Altemus-Williams from Kona For Palestine. “But the reality is that these games are held in the name of global imperialism.”

“I've stood here with comrades, some who are here for many, many years,” said Carolyn Hadfield, representing Veterans For Peace-Hawaii. “The numbers go on and on. The Iraq war. The Gulf War. Today we stand with our brothers and sisters in Palestine who are fighting yet more aggression, death, and destruction.”

They should stand with their brothers and sisters of Palestine way over there in Gaza.

Go to the source.  No dick around.
