Finally checked out The Wind and The Reckoning now that it's on streaming and not sure how a locally produced story about someone taking arms up against the government made it through the "Aloha Spirit" liberal censorship wall. That fact alone allowed me to enjoy it immensely despite it's flaws.

Anyway I was wondering if the C&R guys know what model that bolt action rifle is?

Didn't watch the video yet, but the title says Mk I.

The Mark I had different design features than the Mark II.  From comparisons I saw, that includes different sights, the magazine sizes, and moving the sling swivel from the front end of the handguard to the middle barrel band.  The Mk II has a shorter 10rd magazine that's double stacked versus the Mk I's longer 8rd single stacked mag.

So, given the design feature changes between the two, the movie rifle I think resembles the Mark II version more than the Mark I.

JMHO.  I'm far from an expert, but my Google-Fu is well known!   

From the screen grab, the bolt and angle of the mag reminds me of a Mosin-Nagant.  Where is Inspector when you need him.  He and his buddies were pretty knowledgeable for those types of rifles.

A Mosin-Nagant doesn't quite fit that "historical context".  But see far worse discrepancies all the time.  Try looking closely at many CBS shows.  The guy starts the scene with a 1911, Sig 226, or something with a hammer and ends the scene with a striker fired pistol.   

The Mosin-Nagant basic design has been copied by many makers, so there are similarities between those and many other rifles.

I enlarged that screen grab as well as a different shot.  I looks to me like the mag is removable and the trigger guard is a separate part.  Mosins have a fixed mag, and the trigger guard is part of that piece.

The Mosin mag is also more tapered as it meets the stock toward the barrel.  The screen grab show a more truncated "nose" there.

Just love the Minute of Mae videos and that was the closest I could find. She's reminds me of Thelma from Scooby Doo but with an amazing historical gun collection.
