I think it's the opposite.  The media is overwhelmingly opposed to Trump and has been putting hit pieces against Trump daily for the past 8 years.  They've acknowledged very little of the good things he's done - cut regulations, filled judges on the lower courts, cut taxes, been tough on foreign policy, etc.  He has a lot of faults but the media grossly exaggerate it.

Everyone knows who Trump is which is why he's quiet and campaigning moderately now.  He's not going to win people over and can only lose votes.  It's the Democrats who are giving him votes now.

Whoever controls the media controls the narrative.

People need to think more critically.

Unfortunately, it seems they don't stress that in schools anymore.
