I'm sure the Secret Service enjoys some measure of immunity for their actions.

After all, they are an elite agency, and their officers and agents are cream of the crop, where the standards to join their ranks are never compromised.  You meet the standards, or you step aside.

Well, now that we have a White House administration that embraces DEI, I'm not sure anymore.

Anyway, the actions on that day that President Trump almost died is rank with incompetency and amateur performances.

Congress should hold the Secret Service and their Leaders accountable and they should be punished.

Think about it:  The lack of professionalism on that day caused an innocent father to die and two other innocent bystanders to get critically injured.  Trump could have been killed and the result would have been certain civil unrest on an unprecedented scale or even civil war.

There's should be no immunity for willful negligence or gross incompetence.

They didn't shoot a bystander trying to protect Trump.  That would be acceptable collateral damage under immunity -- though tragic.

Not doing their jobs to this apparent degree of complacency is unforgivable.
