whitmer and newsom and the other future presidential hopefuls don't want to be the VP candidate and have the loser stigma

Has anyone thought about what the implications of the DNC picking Harris over Newsom might be?

As I already said, CA can't vote for both Harris and Newsom as running mates because they are both CA residents.  Unless they already planned ahead and established another state of legal residence for either one, I can't see Newsom being VP this go-round.

Newsom is a career politician.  I think he wants the WH, but the party's looking at reality.

Personally, i think they are setting Harris up to fail.  Then 4 years from now, Newsom will be on the short list for the DNC nomination.

Lately on YT videos it opens with a kamala harris fundraiser ad.

She doesn't talk policies, or how she can improve our country and the world.

She just talks about giving money to her so she (we) can beat TRUMP!!!

All the while smiling like a doofus.

Quick to post feelings, but nothing when asking to back up a statement.

One political strategist advised the Republicans to stay the course and focus their ads on policy.

You can't fix stupid and clueless youngsters and the Gen Z'ers will vote for the fashionable kamala, since she represents a youthful option and invigorates their notion to vote whereas biden just turned them off.  Notice there is nothing about policy.  All about race, gender, minority, and what is regarded as the "in" thing to do in this world of social media bullcrap.

The idea for the GOP is to appeal to the suburban demographic.  The middle class, hard working people who get up every day to go to work to try to make ends meet.  The people who take pride in self-responsibility and self destiny.  And freedom.  Show them the policies that kamala will do, which is basically a clone of the biden policies.

Then focus on the policies of the GOP platform.  Level headed minds will prevail.

Like the strategist said, don't get in the ring with the stupid.  You can't fix stupid.

Focus on policy.
Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

I'm getting maybe 5-6 texts a day re:voting for Harris. . . the name in the text is my sister's. . .

I guess I'll take it.  She's already a Trump hater.  Not quite TDS, but not far from.  She does somewhat see the light in terms of MSM bias, so there's hope. . .

And the Left-wing misinformation campaign begins   continues.

This is part of the root cause of our distrust of the media.

Quote
In March 2021, President Joe Biden tapped his VP Kamala Harris to deal
with the border. Harris, dubbed the "border czar," was meant to "tackle the
migration challenge at the U.S. southern border and work with Central
American nations to address root causes of the problem," the AP wrote
at the time.

In a bizarre attempted fact-check, Axios claimed on Wednesday that she
never was the border czar. They claim that the Trump campaign lied
when
saying that "Harris was appointed 'border czar' in March of 2021, and since
that time, millions and millions of illegal aliens have invaded our country and
countless Americans have been killed by migrant crime because of her willful
demolition of America borders and laws."
Quote
"I’ve asked her, the VP, today — because she’s the most qualified person to
do it — to lead our efforts with Mexico and the Northern Triangle and the countries
that help — are going to need help in stemming the movement of so many folks,
stemming the migration to our southern border," Biden said in March 2021.

He continued "...this increase has been consequential, but the Vice President has
agreed — among the multiple other things that I have her leading — and I
appreciate it — agreed to lead our diplomatic effort and work with those nations to
accept re- the returnees, and enhance migration enforcement at their borders —
at their borders."

Two weeks in, Harris hadn't done anything other than have a phone call with the
president of Guatemela where they "reaffirmed their commitment to addressing
the root causes of migration by combating corruption, promoting economic
opportunity, and enhancing civilian security."

one of the emails today....

========================
Harris for President
We were starting to get worried, Deborah.

Despite receiving a MASSIVE surge of grassroots support over the last 48 hours, we were tracking behind where we expected to be at this point in the day.

But then, Kamala personally called on this grassroots team to help us get back on track… and donations SKYROCKETED!
Kamala will never stop fighting for the people. But Donald Trump and the MAGA Right are attacking her at every turn, and she needs your help to take them on.

The stakes couldn’t be higher -- our very democracy hangs in the balance. So please, Deborah, this is important.

Will you answer Kamala’s call and rush a contribution of $25 or more to her campaign today? Kamala cannot defeat Trump without you.

Biden did a great job for the democrats. He realized he wasn't up for the next 4 years and waited for Trump to pick a horrible VP.  Then he bailed while the Republicans spent months attacking him as a old man.   Now that's he's gone,  Trump is now the old man with mental decline.

I hope she picks Mark Kelly as VP.  More central the better.

I plan to vote for Harris, unless Trump performs a miracle and does the first selfless act of his life and drops out too.

You mentioned above that "Biden did a great job for the democrats".  I agree.  Did he do a great job for our country?  Hell no.  He gets an F.  I'd give him a lower grade if there was one.

You mentioned that biden waited until Trump picked a horrible VP then bailed.  No.  He didn't bail.  He was kicked to the curb by his fellow demorats when his usefulness ran out.  Poor guy was used and abused.  He had so many knives in his back you could drain spaghetti.

You mentioned that the Republicans spent months attacking him as a old man.  No.  Try years.  And when you think of it, they were doing him and the country a favor by exposing the truth.  Not like the demorats that hid his mental condition and propped him up as a fit and mentally capable president.  Only when the cat was let out of the bag did the demorats kick him to the curb and started to prop up the hyena as the next savior of our country.

This is, in all it's "glory" the party you affiliate with.  Did you give your $25?  kamala is asking......

Fake news MSNBC highly edits a collection of a few snippets 100% out of context, and YOU FELL FOR IT?

Here's the real interview (@ 3:14):

When he said "the opposing side," he meant the other side OF THE BORDER, not  of the Senate aisle.
