Just saw where the $240M raised for the Biden-Harris campaign can only be used by the presidential campaign if Harris remains on the ticket.

So, her selection by the DNC as Biden's replacement was a financial one, not a decision based on her capabilities nor even the party leaders' preference.

If she was no longer part of the campaign, the money raised for Biden would go to the party, not the campaign.  Only $32M of that $240M could be coordinated with the new presidential campaign if Harris was not part of it.
