There were only two real Alien movies. The first one in 1979 and the other in 1986. The rest were doo doo.

Certain movies do quite well as sequels.  Again and again.

But yeah, they do well but not by the blockbuster impact of the first and maybe even the 2nd or 3rd.

Aliens, Terminator, and Predator movie did pretty well.

But I must admit, watching the trailer of this new Alien movie made me think of same old, same old.  Only with some new special affects on an old scene.

This. They brought back the M41A probably A2 to get people who loved Aliens to go see the film.  I'll hold off until I see reviews.
