After gloating about the wonderful job he did, a reporter asked him before he could get away about Trump's comments.

Trump said this was a terrible deal, and if this were under his watch, he'd have gotten the hostages out of Russia without giving the other side anything in exchange.

Biden's quick retort was, "Why didn't he do it when he was president?"

Maybe because of that insignificant detail that 3 of the 4 Americans were taken under Biden's watch during that war he's funding? 

I'm wondering if Biden knows what year it is without checking a calendar, phone or asking someone.  He sure can't tell what year he became president.
