I was thinking of starting a thread asking where da hell is the president. ::)  The country and the world is going to hell and not a peep out of him.

I know he's a lame donkey.....  oops I mean lame duck but c'mon man, you still gotta do something.

I guess not.  Mommy-wife Jill will handle the daily duties now.  He can go sleep and eat ice-cream and go sniff little girls.

Only during this circus of an administration do we have a democratic nominee with zero votes to get to where she is now and a wife leading our country by attending cabinet meetings.

Both with nobody voting for them.  woo hoo.  Come November if Trump loses we are f*cked.

Big time.

Deductive reasoning told us years ago Joe is a puppet, being handed index cards and scripts when he attended meetings so he knew what to say and what to decide.

This latest is proof of how far gone he is.  He can't even keep up the charade.  His handlers have given up, and now they are giving the rest of us a view into the reality of how things have been done for years.

Social media erupts after president throws [mic]
to Jill Biden to speak at Cabinet meeting: 'All yours, kid'

Quote
The president traditionally sits at the center of the table with Cabinet members
seated in order of the founding of their departments. The last sitting first lady to
attend her husband's Cabinet meeting appears to be Hillary Clinton.

The amount of influence the first lady has over Joe Biden, and therefore his
administration, has been a frequent source of controversy, and numerous
commentators took to social media to criticize her presence at the meeting.

The New York Post said that Jill Biden is "considered by insiders to be the most
influential first lady since Edith Wilson, who tightly controlled access to her husband,
President Woodrow Wilson, after he suffered a debilitating stroke in October 1919."

Digital strategist Greg Price referenced this comparison, saying, "She's literally
Edith Wilson except right out in the open in a 24/7 news cycle and nobody in the
media cares."

"Wow. A visibly exhausted Joe Biden just held a full Cabinet meeting for the first
time in 11 months and immediately turned the mic over to his wife, Jill," previous
adviser to former President Donald Trump Steve Cortes said. He went on to ask,
"Who is running the country?"

So, Presidents Bush, Obama and Trump never had their wives attend their cabinet meetings.  But now Biden is.

It's not because she had an issue of great importance to present.  It's because Joe can't find his way off a stage or read a teleprompter without screwing it up.

Nearly a year since the last cabinet meeting.  I guess nothing important has happened in the last year.

Israel-Gaza war
Ukraine-Russia war
Americans taken hostage by Palestinian terrorists
Two assassination attempts on a former president's life who's also in the race again with Iran possibly behind them
Iran hacked into the Trump campaign and offered the data to the Biden campaign and officials in DC, as well as to news outlets
etc
etc

Go back to sleep, Sleepy Joe.  Jill's got this!

By the way, kamala is still vice-president.

Or did she put in for vacation so she can run for president?

Oh well, I guess no one's at the helm of this sinking ship.  Except "doctor" Jill.

To be fair, the President and VP are not joined at the hip in terms of executive duties.  Only the president can take executive action and make Commander in Chief decisions.  The VP is tagged in the Constitution to be the leader of the Senate as its president.

Only when the President assigns a special tasking to the VP will they have authority to hold heraings, meet world leaders and so on.  If the project is gun control, like Biden did for Obama and Harris did for Biden, all they can do is make a list of recommendations.  It's up to the president to take action on the recommendations.

Having said that, Harris probably should have been sworn in as president long ago due to Biden's incapacitation.  But that would have interfered with the party's plan to hold the office for 16 years -- 8 under each Biden and Harris.
