No argument here, I saw the same thing.  My question is, why were two separate statements made to the press on two separate occasions that the AR was not used, and then the ME says it was, and that's the end of the story.  I'd like to know if the ME is correct or not, and if he is, why was it reported to the media *twice* that the AR was not used?  I'm not buying the false flag bullshit, but why were so many diametrically opposed statements released to the press?

The only report I really saw was some crap video from the 19th.  The overwhelming reports were that it was a bushmaster AR-15 recovered next to his body.   Rifle wounds do not look like handgun wounds, so I am pretty certain the ME woudl be able to tell.

with so much scrutiny from this investigation and "the full weight of the president's power" supposedly behind this whole situation that we do not hear any definitive conclusion? all we hear is that the investigation is on going. if memory serves me well the Arizona shooting was pretty clear cut and all the facts were out to the press rather quickly. furthermore if the bushmaster was really found in the school next to lanzas body why is there no report of the shotgun in the car? it's just not adding up. they can't say nothing was found in the car cause there is video

There are plenty of reports that talk about the "shotgun"/ "Fourth Gun"  it's just because it wasn't used in the crime that it really isn't that big of deal.  Also, what's going to sell - "assault rifle" or "hunter's gun" lol

This thread is full retard status.

Especially this bit about Emilie Parker going around-

Emilie Parker (5/12/06) is listed on the official victim list so this confirms that this girl should be dead, right? well look at this interesting photo that has been put together. The top photo was released by the family to the MSM and the below photo that was so released by the media; of Obama supporting the families and children of the Sandy Hook school (After the Tragedy). But this photo raises some new questions!

I guess we've never seen children that wear hand me down clothing and look like an older sibling...
Emilie Parker obviously had 2 younger sisters in the top photo. It should be apparent that the girl posing with the Pres is Emilie's sister, wearing Emilie's dress. How is this unthinkable?

How many of the folks who are crying "HOAX!" also believe the holocaust didn't happen? ::)

Well on the hoax note, remember this (moon hoax). I would have to say if landing on the moon 1st during the space race was a hoax it was a hoax that put the U.S. at the top of the food chain. So if you believe in the moon hoax I guess Sandy Hook could be a hoax too. If not then hopefully someone here is planning to do some investigative first hand journalism to give us first hand facts.

You guys must hear shit from aliens.  Seriously.   Your tin foil hatness is a waste of energy, just stop lol.  ::)

That is all we need now is gun owners trying to say that this was a staged hoax.  It makes you sound ignorant, unaware, and really just uneducated.  For onlookers, it just makes them want to work against you even more.

THIS! [though I don't find it to be a laughing matter]

Obviously you have anger issues.
Dex, I've pretty much bit my tongue when it comes to your posts and this is not in defense of ren (he can speak for himself), but I'm just going to be blunt here...it might have something to do with the stupid assed crap that you insist on pushing.

I'll admit the first few "conspiracy" posts (birther stuff ,ect) were mildly amusing and maybe intriguing, but when you start going on about faking dead babies? That's just disgusting and incredibly infuriating to anyone with a bit of sense in their head. You might think it's just free speech...okay, sure. BUT at this point you've crossed a line and become downright offensive. I truly believe you've got some issues that prevent you from seeing things rationally. Take the picture for example: You choose to see it as a picture of the Emile Parker and there's no other possible explanation...it's a conspiracy! Well, as GPAGAP said, it could be a hand-me-down dress. I pose the possibility that ALL three sisters have the exact same dress, because that's pretty common for families that have children very close in age (as in this case).

Now take a moment and think...what's more likely? Faking the deaths of 20 children or 3 sisters having the same dress (maybe bought for a family picture)? What's next...demanding proof? Need to see autopsy photos? Hell, it's just going to be an endless and irrational circle.

I'll close with this, you claim your "views are not that of the shop" (or something along those lines). I'll tell you this: You are a representative of the shop and to most, that disclaimer doesn't matter. I know I'm not the only one that doesn't want to be around if the guys with butterfly nets come for you or if you crack and run around screaming of black helicopters. So please take this as constructive advice: give it a rest or at least tone it down a little. I truly believe oddball stuff like this is hurting the 2A community and in your case, business.

No response is necessary, but feel free to come at me with a "Whatevas" or that I have some issue/need help if that makes you feel better.

I wouldn't go so far as to say everything was staged but you have to admit the media has reported this incident in such a way that it plays into the hands of the president's political agenda.  To say that everything that has been reported in the media is unbiased and objective is crazy but that's the media for you. The point I'm trying to make is how many people in the country take whatever they see on the news as 100% fact without even exploring all the facts? Do you remember Orson Well's radio announcement on the radio years ago about aliens attacking the Earth for the "War of the Worlds" movie. Some people actually believed that we were indeed being invaded by aliens. Fast forward to today and the media has demonized pratically all guns.

Case and point recently a non-gun owner coworker asked me about what handguns I have. He is not an anti-gunner just had no experience in the matter. I told him that I owned a Glock and before I could go on he made the comment "Ohh I better not make you mad then". I asked what he meant from that and he replied "That's what all the shooters have used" refering to Sandy Hook and Virgina Tech. Here the media, whether it intended to or not (imho the former), influenced my coworker to be somewhat averse to Glocks.

Bottom line is that the media will always report news in way that plays into current public opinion. A portion of the population will jump on the emotion bandwagon, a portion will reserve judgement and a portion will be naysayers. All I'm saying is that is people should at least entertain all the info and come to their own conclusions. That may take them to the moon with a tin foil hat but thats their opinion.

This post embodies the crux of my argument.  I will admit that I've added my share of "controversial" posts.  As always, it isn't meant to insult (so I apologize if I have), but to garner thought.  The main point being the media spinning the truth to push their agenda.  In all honesty, I don't believe that there are kids out there faking their own deaths.  What I hate is how the media misinforms the public, reports inaccurate stories just to be able to say, "We had it here first!" which in turn creates the "hoax" argument by allowing people to reference inaccurate stories by sources deemed accurate.  But, I do believe that questions should always be asked.  When there are inconsistencies or information that just doesn't make sense, you should always question it.  In fact, there are a bunch of networks who still publish and air documentaries concerning the events of 9/11.  Just because they're questioning the facts concerning the events, does that make them crazy?

The fact that the media creates inconsistencies and the government does nothing to refute those inaccuracies stokes the flame of the "false-flag" believers.  One of the main reasons why I go to "fringe" websites and read articles such as the ones I've posted in the past is because I already know mainstream report on it.  And it's pumped full of agenda.  I read opinions of the opposite extreme and try to find ground somewhere in the middle.  Which is why, in the end, I'll post controversial content.  Seeing and understanding the other side of the coin is very important for me to have a balanced approach to events such as these.  Which is why I share it.

People rely on them for their daily dose of information.  What's troubling is when the information they're getting is inaccurate.  It's pushed to make the populace believe a certain way, then they reap the fruits of their labor when it comes to election day.  I would love some semblance of truth coming from them.  I believe it's their job to provide journalism without agenda.  Not a one-sided delivery, as it is today.  The reason why we're even having this debate in this thread is a direct result of the media.  And we're all on common ground in this forum.  How can we possibly convince those that don't feel the same way when we're not only fighting against the beliefs of the people, but the agendas of the MSM?  It just feels like a race where the finish line just keeps getting pushed back again, and again.

Yeah its like what happened in this last election. Mainland news was reporting that Hirono won in a landslide before the polling places were closed. Granted thats eventually what happened but if you recall there were tons of people still in line to vote. Who's to say that a good portion of these people heard the news and said we already lost so no need stay in line to vote. Its revisionist history or in that case outright sabotage.

The massacre in Connecticut that's taken the lives of at least 26 people was reportedly perpetrated with a .223 caliber rifle, a Glock pistol and a Sig Sauer pistol, according to NBC:

The shooter was using one Sig Sauer and one Glock pistol, according to CNN. Later details emerged that the primary weapon was the Bushmaster "assault-style" rifle.

Altogether, though, it doesn't matter what type of weapon the shooter used. The bottom line is that it was likely a magazine fed, semi-automatic, with enough rounds to shoot "100 shots" in a matter of minutes, as quoted in USA Today.

Lanza could have easily done the same with a double barrel shotgun and a box of bird shot. All he had to do was block the door way of a classroom and shoot. A classroom of 5 year olds  are sitting ducks.
