2% chance.  Not impossible.

You're literally spreading hostile propaganda and telling us to give up hope.

Any significant gain in the Trump vote is a big middle finger to the Democratic establishment, which makes them afraid of us and much less likely to go overboard with new anti-gun legislation.

Make sure you all vote for the local elections.  It’s important to stay involved.   Let’s clean our own home first.

I posted earlier there was a Trump rally yesterday at Mililani Town Center.

Refreshing and really nice to see those American Flags being flown proudly.

They are not giving up and neither should we.

I vote because even though Hawaii is hopelessly blue I vote for change.  If everyone gives up then they win.

One day they won't win.  But that day won't happen if we give up.  Or move to another state and make fun of us back at home.

last time Trump got 34% of the vote, although losing, still not trivial.
29 point difference, yeah, who we kidding.

It’s something everyone should know, but they want us to feel hopeless.

because Hawaii voters are dumb

They like being taxed on their hard-earned money so that people "less fortunate" (tranlation: equity) can have benefits and things that are better than what they have.

Hawaii people are used to bending over.

There's a reason the education system here sucks so bad. They designed a population just barely smart enough to keep the system running without asking too many questions.

There seem to be a lot more people getting “red pilled” and having “buyer’s remorse” after 4 years of the Biden/Harris administration. I’m expecting Trump will have more votes than 34%.

My father whos a hardcore DNC voter said this when I asked about why there's so many potholes, esp after it rains. He said cause the ocean water and humidity. Then I brought up Taiwan who has the more rain and humidity and he had no reply. He doesn't want to admit that HI uses shitty materials so the contractor gets called back to fix/replace.  We've been to taiwan multiple times and ever seen 1 pot hole.

He also is middle income and comfortable. Always has been, so even with this inflation, it doesn't affect him. HIs reply of stuff costing more is "make more money". He doesn't understand the concept that things can be cheaper than they are today.

He also supported the rail from day 1 and still does because he rode the rail in Oregon and Japan. I explained b4 construction began that it won't be the same as HI is corrupt and doesn't do things the right way. To this day, he thinks the rail is a good idea.

This is the control that the media has on voters that is very difficult to overcome. But I'm trying as he is becoming more pro 2a than he was. His reply to active shooters was to call 911 and ban guns. Today it's "shoot back".

We have to keep in mind that Hawaii has always had an issue of voter turnout. Only 38-40% of the state's population actually votes, that's less than 50% of the overall population of people eligible to vote in the state of Hawaii.

Democrats have been exploiting this low voter turnout for decades, the last time we had a republican governor Linda Lingle (I was in school when she was governor). At that time the voter turnout was up in the low forties
so a few thousand more folks from Maui had to have voted for her then.

The non participating voter population are either Hawaiian activists (We do not participate in elections of land that was "stolen")
Young surfers with their heads literally in the sand (or drugs depending on the individual(s) in question)
The rest I can't pin down.

A good portion comes from the "my vote won't count" crowd.  They think it's fruitless because the same candidates always win and their vote won't make a difference.

I think it's funny because if they take the time to think about it, it's people like them that enable the status quo to continue.

They should ponder the question "What if everyone thought like me.....?"
