As a small time knife maker I am always trying to figure out what steels I should use and there are a couple dozen stainless steel options I can choose from. There are so many to choose from with varying levels of performance on rust resistance, hardness, strength, edge retention, workability and price. A lot of it is hair splitting by knife steel nerds.

I do have one knife in S30v for sale but it isn't my go to steel. I used to use mainly 440C but my most recent purchase was CPM 154 because it seemed to perform a lot better without adding much cost, compared to the "super steels" which eek out more performance but bring a big increase in price.
