Amazing.

I must admit I was hopelessly ignorant of Margaret Brennen and CBS.  I knew CBS was biased but stupidly thought Margaret was one of the very few that was not.

And because of that I thought she was a true journalist searching to expose real news and truth to the American people.

I was wrong.

seems like MSM has become the Pravda of the old Soviet Union.

at this point, it seems that even RT has decent news, although that has to be taken with a grain of salt.

Elon Musk has become the shining knight-in-armor for free speech.  Zuckerburg, not so much.  NPR has become a joke, Wikipedia has become the libtard encyclopedia.

my, my, the times have certainly changed.  So sad, used to be the United States was a beacon of freedom, now it's a beacon for freebies for illegals..   :(

This has been going on for a very long time.  It's become magnitudes worse with the age of YT and the internet in general.  Businesses want to see high click statistics and online subscriptions before pouring their advertising dollars into a news agency's bucket.  That began the slippery slope from clickbait to "apparently the truth is no longer a priority."  So, the activists hosting these shows and their producers tailor the "news" to their messaging and agenda.

They've gotten away with it for so long, it's snowballed into a situation where the people being lied about have to sue to correct the record.  Of course, by then, it's way too late.  The damage is done, and the year or more it takes to sue means the issue is no longer relevant.

CNN settles lawsuit with Nick Sandmann stemming from viral video controversy

Quote
Major news outlets, including the Washington Post, the Associated Press and CNN,
covered the aftermath of the incident.

Sandmann also filed lawsuits against NBC Universal and The Washington Post. In July,
a federal judge in Kentucky dismissed the lawsuit against The Washington Post. Part of
that lawsuit, however, was later reinstated in October.

In a time when news agencies are competing with live-streaming and immediate Social Media uploads, the MSM is finding it almost impossible to be first to "print" with current events.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
