Maybe she's going on the premise that all ethnicities have origins in Africa.

Maybe that's why she claims she's Black?

Trump could use this premise to woo the Black demographic too.

But he doesn't need to.  They plan to vote for him anyway.

Bruh,

Syria+Jew=Black
Indian+Jamacian=Black

Thus, Hyena=Black.

It's basic math. Focus

You guys can't be serious.  It's obama not black?   Have any of you seen what her father looks like?   You know mixed race people exist right?

did you watch the video?
the only picture in the book that was not in color was a color picture made black and white of her paternal grandfather so he would appear darker
and look at his face, that's not a black looking face
and the 2 pictures of her with what she claims is her black paternal grandmother are pretty sus since her grandmother died before she was born...

Don't care if she is black - she is HORRIBLE at her job as VP. What makes anyone think she will do anything different as President is beyond me.

The only reason I care about this topic is how it relates to her willingness to lie about her race, ethnicity, whatever else in order to pander to certain demographics for votes.

She's the vp pick under the oldest and whitest man to serve as President.  Somehow she thinks the Obama Black vote is automatically hers if she can sell those voters on her being Black.

I don't care if the President is Vanilla, Chocolate, Orange or Lime as long as they have policies that will protect the nation's people, our economy and our values.  Things like the border crisis are an indication that she isn't capable.

Kamala is a mixed-up race.

She was sworn in as the first Indian-American Senator.

Only a few years later, she began changing her identity to a Black woman.

Why not Black-Indian-American?

The fact is, she's an American.  Period.  Using multiple hyphenated terms to describe herself shows she's mixed up -- either intentionally, or she just can't remember.

She's Elizabeth "Fauxcahontas" Warren 2.0.

1 parent is Jamaican and the other is India for Hyena.  Unlike you, I don't base a persons ethnic background based on what they look like. So she's half Indian and half Jamaican.

How dare you assume someones ethnic background based on the color of their skin.  I guess you would consider a dark Japanese beach boy Mexican.  My friend often gets spoken to in Spanish when on the mainland. He's 100% Japanese and a beach boy.

She's changed her own opinion of how she identifies ethnically and racially.

It's amazing how anyone can make a definitive statement saying she's Black when she herself hasn't been committed to one racial identity.

Democrats race-splaining.

Actually we don't care.  Well, I don't anyway.  Seems like the only one who cares is kamala.  She wants the black vote.

Right now Black people are pretty pissed at obama for insinuating they can't think for themselves and need to be told what to do and kamala's embarrassing pander to the black demographic.

Rightfully so.

It doesn't matter, they want their conspiracy theories and will believe just about anything. It is just like TDS but flipped.

It is such a stupid tactic because it distracts from real, legitimate criticisms of her.

So, you're okay with the sitting Vice President and Democrat nominee for president lying about her background?

Gotcha.

Am I ok with it? No
Are they lies of consequence? No

The real question is why does one side get up in arms when they catch the other side in a lie (or think they did) but when their side lies it isn't a big issue? Trump has been caught lying countless times yet almost no one starts threads every time for him.
Lets be honest here, principles are not at play here, no one really cares about a dishonest candidate, they only care when they can use it to harm the opposition.

Sounds like you've never heard of the principle that someone willing to lie about issues of "no consequence" will be more apt to lie about issues of consequence -- issues where the truth would be extremely damaging.

Your post tells me you're okay with a lying candidate as long as you don't see how those lies matter.

Sounds like conditional principles.

So you agree that Trump's lies could end up being extremely damaging?
