My prediction for what Trump will do if he wins
-Say a bunch of stupid stuff.
- Anger democrats
-Play a bunch of golf
-Take credit for a bunch of stuff he didn't have that big a roll in
-Blame democrats for things
-Appoint a justice to SCOTUS (hopefully replacing Clarence Thomas)

Other than that I don't predict much significant out of him.

Can you be more specific?

WHat kind of stupid stuff will he say?
What would he take credit for that he didn't have a big roll in?
Add on, how much roll should one have so they can take credit for doing something?
What kind of things would he blame dems for?

I don't think even Jesus could predict the stupid things Trump will say in the future.

Taking too much credit is part of the job. Congress gets a law through and the president signs it and then claims he did something good. Or the president delegates some task then claims how good he did the task. On many things, but not all, presidents, all presidents, take way too much credit in my opinion.

I don't think Jesus spent his time predicting what words will come out of people's mouths.  Just funny you'd try to invoke Jesus when you don't believe in Him.

If you followed one major bill from start to law, you'd realize it's not as simple as you think.

Parties and committees play Monopoly with the laws, voting for bills the other side wants in exchange for what they want.  When it gets to the President to sign, it's more of a formality.  Research how many bills are vetoed in each term, and how many of those were passed via a Congressional override vote.

So ehen they brag about passing a bill, there was likely a lot of horse trading in the back rooms in order to get it passed for signing.

You didn't answer my questions.

I would assume everyone says stupid stuff. U stated that all presidents take way too much credit for things. So basically, you're making a neutral statement of things that will happen no matter what. This is why I asked you for specifics on your statement.  You can just say "I have none, but (enter your post above). So my statement goes for everyone."

I didn't answer because I can't make such specific predictions of the future because I don't know the future. I can only make general predictions based on past performance given those are all things he has done before

I never said I don't believe in Jesus. The point was that the things Trump has said are so odd that no one could ever predict what he would say.

I am aware of the general process, I just don't think it warrants that much credit on the part of the president.

After Roe v. Wade was overturned by the Supreme Court, this happened in 2021:

Quote
Last year, a group of Democrats —including Representatives Jerrold Nadler
of New York, Hank Johnson of Georgia, Mondaire Jones of New York and
Senator Ed Markey of Massachusetts— tried to pass a proposal to expand
the number of seats on the Supreme Court from nine to 13.

Democrats hate that they lost their liberal activist judges (thanks to Trump replacing them).  As usual, instead of accepting a loss, many Democrats pushed to change the game.

I think Trump ought to consider expanding the court as a gesture of goodwill to those Democrats.  But, instead of Biden and his Democrat handlers making the appointments, it'll be Trump and a GOP majority Senate.

Careful what you wish for!

You didn't answer because you can't and don't want to be held if he doesn't make said statement. Cause then your playing both sides would not be possible as you gave a direct answer.

I am aware of the general process, I just don't think it warrants that much credit on the part of the president.

I would say each gets 33% credit. Say we had a pro 2a senate and house, but an anti 2a POTUS. There is no way POTUS would sign the bill into law.  Real example, The Hudson Bill (National Reciprocity). THis was the 1st time ever that a bill like this passed it's first hurdle. Trump said he would sign it if it came to his desk, but the bill died as the house voted against it.  This was with a GOP controlled house and senate. Obama had the same GOP controlled house/senate, but no bill like this made it pass it's first stage.

If a bill doesn't pass either house or senate, but POTUS says he worked with a rep/senator to have a bill created, then POTUS should get the 1/3 credit, even though it never came across his desk.

This is why I asked you what % involvement should one have in order to take credit and you didn't reply with a number. Guess numbers are definitive too, so you wouldn't be able to play both sides.

Or what's more simple is that you don't want to make a firm statement where you can be shown youre wrong.
