Youll shoot every position you can think of. Many difficult and akward positions. prone, standing, sitting, kneeling, bent over, unsupported, supported on rocks, trees, bushes, twigs, backpack, monopod, bipod, tripod. literally everything and anything except for an actual bench. the best thing you can do is make sure your rifle is fitted to you well so that when you mount you can come up on your natural point of aim as quickly as possible. practice your breathing, and trigger pull. practice with your heart pounding and your legs and arms burning and full of blood.
I know you said you are just gonna sit and wait, but you still have to walk to your spot. you have to walk to that doe or buck you just shot and you have to walk back. the day you spook that trophy buck or ram and pass on that 4 second window of opportunity... that will haunt you for a while lol.
