The GOP also took control of the Senate with 51 seats and another 8 undecided.  The GOP will also likely take the House as well.

So, the Senate has been called under GOP control.  AP reports 51 R, 42 D and 7 left to call.

The House, according to the AP, 190 R, 168 D, and 77 left to call.  According to the NYT, it could take days, if not weeks, before the Congressional races are all called.  Many are very close and could be subject to recounting.

At this point, I wouldn't count on both chambers being GOP-controlled, but we shall see.

wow, I did not see Michigan and Wisconsin going for Trump.  Didn't have that on my bingo card.  Amazing.  And Thank God Pennsylvania went for Trump, I heard the Amish turned out in droves.

Still holding my breath on The House, need to get that 218.

at this time, CNN and MSNBC still haven't ceded, still showing 266 for Trump.  Some people are a little slow.  Biden-slow.

The View tomorrow should be an epic melt-down.  I might actually tune in for that, 9am abc.  Hopefully a Niagara Falls of liberal tears.

She'll have to be content to have been tagged by Biden as his President of Vice.

She achieved a position well beyond her skill level, so she should be content.  Now she can just increase her wealth giving public appearances and enjoying the increased wealth she's about to experience under Trump.  Hopefully Vance is President for the following 8 years.  I've seen him enough to really start to like him as a person and a politician.

Harris is supposed to give a concession speech at 11:00 HST.

With regards to her speech, i predict her biggest excuse for losing is how she was only campaigning for a few months since Biden dropped out.

i don't care how much longer she campaigned -- she wasn't going to get any better.  She was in office for over 3 years before getting the nomination.  She ran for the 2020 nomination but dropped out in Dec 2019 before the primaries.

She was not a "new" candidate with just a few months to campaign.  We've heard her bitch about Hitler Trump for years and years.  She literally had nothing else to run on.

11 minutes late.  The press conference stage is all set up.  I predict the speech won't start until 11:20 or later.  Gotta give the vodka time to kick in.

When all the negative stories about Walz started to hit the MSM, i began to think he was chosen precisely because he was a bad candidate.

Scapegoat?  I didn't look hard at Walz.  The analysis that I heard did make a lot of sense of "wtf were they thinking", but of course after the fact. 

Nevada has yet to be called, even with 93% reported in and Trump leading Harris by 5 points -- 52% to 47%.

Arizona shows 62% of votes reported with Trump also leading by 5 points -- same 52% to 47%.

Together, NV 6 + AZ 11 = 17 electoral votes.

Presently, Trump has 294 electoral votes.  Adding both of those states would make 311 to Harris' 223.

The only other state not yet called is Maine.  Trump is ahead 8 points with 91% of votes reported -- 53% to 45%.  They have 4 electoral votes.

Theoretically, Trump could end up with those, making his total 315 electoral votes. 

Biden beat Trump with 306. 

Trump beat Hillary with 304.

Obama beat Romney with 332 and beat McCain with 365.

Bill Clinton won with 379 and 370.

While Trump's total number of electoral votes is not historically outstanding, the fact he beat not one, but two female Democrats who were both predicted to win is a significant achievement.  We've ony ever had 2 women to receive the DNC nomination, and Trump beat them both.

NV has 11,000 mail in ballots that cannot be verified. Their head of ops is saying cause young people live in a tech age and don't know how to sign stuff.  But even if all these 11,000 went to Harris, Trump still has the lead. They are reaching out to these people to verify their ballots.

Clark County (Vegas) voted Harris. It's the other counties that voted trump that over takes Clark County's Harris vote that causes NV to vote Trump and be red.  The last 3 elections, they supported the DNC candidate.

I'm also currently watching their states house and senate. Usually they're like 55/45 DNC/GOP.
