Will 2028 see Madam President Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez?
« on: December 05, 2024, 01:54:22 PM »
AOC is 35, born October 13, 1989.

Minimum age to become President:  35

Youngest US President:  Theodore Roosevelt, age 42 when term began

2nd Youngest US President:  John F. Kennedy, age 43 when term began

She would become the youngest US President ever if elected, with her term starting in 2029 at age 40.

As if the Democrat Party doesn't have enough problems already!

She would likely be opposing VP Vance in 4 years.

Would she be a preferred candidate for the GOP believing she'd be easy to beat?

Or would she be difficult to beat given the Woman of Color, Far left ideals, and age boxes she checks off?

Most citizens are not buying that stuff anymore. The ratings and election clearly show it. On the other hand we have a major crash coming so if they can successfully pin it on Trump and his reforms don’t provide enough relief then it could swing in a different direction.

AOC.

Asshat of Color.

Yep.  She got the creds.

Gonna need the help of those phantom 81 million voters, though.

Have seen a number of testimony coverage of her and the stupid questions she asks.  Even when corrected by calm and obviously intelligent, informed, prepped folks she's throwing the stuff at.  She just confidently flails away.  I often wonder if that is what makes her popular.  That she's "fighting the power", no matter that she's a fricken idiot. . .

Idiots supporting their idiot.

Yeah, she does have the support base.  It's like her supporters are acknowledging "Yes, she is an idiot.  But she is OUR idiot....."

Don't forget.  Kamala still received almost half the vote total.

All it takes is for the GOP to give us another candidate like Bob Dole or Mitt Romney, and the pendulum may swing left again.

If she did OF, she would raise billions in a week.

Would that decision help, or hurt, her chances of getting the most votes?

I mean, Stormy Daniels made a lot of money in the adult entertainment industry, but i don't see her being fit for public office.

She is kinda like a younger version of Kamala and nearly as smart.
She is a tool of the leftists, just a figure head. At least she now knows what
a garbage disposal is.

I wouldn't be surprised one bit to see her throw her hat in the ring. She is popular, she is attractive, she has energy, she has experience, she checks all the boxes, etc. She is definitely going to have competition though. I would bet Newsom will be on the ballot as well.

This is one of her most outstanding moments.  RICO is not a crime according to AOC.

Quote
Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act is a
United States federal law that provides for extended criminal
penalties and a civil cause of action for acts performed as part of an
ongoing criminal organization.

RICO was enacted by Title IX of the Organized Crime Control Act of 1970
(Pub. L. 91–452, 84 Stat. 922, enacted October 15, 1970), and is codified
at 18 U.S.C. ch. 96 as 18 U.S.C. §§ 1961–1968.

This article primarily covers the federal criminal statute, but since 1972, 33
U.S. states and territories have adopted state RICO laws, which although
similar, cover additional state crimes and may differ from the federal law
and each other in several respects.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racketeer_Influenced_and_Corrupt_Organizations_Act

It's not a "category" as much as a process that was created in 1970 to prosecute mobsters and those who facilitated their crimes.

Quote
Under RICO, a person who has committed "at least two acts of
racketeering activity" drawn from a list of 35 crimes (27 federal
crimes and eight state crimes) within a 10-year period can be
charged with racketeering if such acts are related in one of four
specified ways to an "enterprise."[1]
Quote
Racketeering is a type of organized crime in which the perpetrators
set up a coercive, fraudulent, extortionary, or otherwise illegal
coordinated scheme or operation (a "racket") to repeatedly or
consistently collect a profit.

This article lists a bunch or examples of racketeering.   You don't even have to break a specific law.  If the activities are defined in the racketeering statutes, and two or more of those exist, then it's a violation of the RICO act.

She's making it sound like the witness is a Cop accusing Biden of breaking a specific law.  RICO doesn't require that.  You can be charged under the RICO statutes just for being part of the organization whether or not what you did personally was 100% legal.  One of the racketeering examples is:
Quote
Criminal operation of otherwise ostensibly legal operations,
such as strip clubs, hotels, restaurants, casinos, nightclubs, bars,
pornographic film studios, social clubs, construction companies,
salvage yards, auto shops, laundromats, dry cleaners, waste
management firms, farms, property development companies,
hospitals, television studios, newsrooms, clinics, music stores,
hardware stores, fisheries, airline companies, shipyards, florist
shops and fashion companies
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Racketeering

AOC isn't as sharp as she pretends.  She's the ultimate pole turtle.

She has XP, but not good XP.  It's like promoting the moron who's been your coworker for 10 years over someone who's actually good.  So all your points that you mentioned seem typical DNC candidate "vote for me" points.

Luckily, the House is not under Democrat control.  Top committee chairs are decided by the majority party.

Quote
House Republican leaders will choose new chairs for a number of influential
committees this week, people who will have the power to help deliver on
President-elect Trump’s priorities in the GOP trifecta over the next two years.

While most of the committee chair positions are uncontested, several panels
have leaders who are departing Congress or are term limited according to
internal House GOP rules. Unless granted a waiver, House GOP chairs may
not serve more than three consecutive terms atop a committee, in a contrast
from the House Democratic Caucus, where some senior leaders have led
committees for a decade or more.

https://thehill.com/homenews/house/5027410-gop-committee-chairs/

The section in red surprised me.  House members serve 2-year terms, so 3 consecutive terms would be 6 years (obviously) -- the GOP's limit.  Seems like the Dems don't have any committee chair limits.

While AOC can petition to be on the oversight committee, there are many, more senior Democrats who will be looking for those positions, too.  If she gets the top spot of minority leader on the oversight committee, I'll be shocked.

You're going to have to offer "receipts" for that claim.

Debating whether AOC is smarter than Harris is like trying to pick a turd up by the clean end!

i think there's different kinds of stupid, and different degrees of stupid.

both of them are unhinged dingbats, max stupid, dumb as a box of rocks, but it seems that AOC tends more to the "dumb blonde" type of stupid.

Mazie tends towards just plain mentally challenged, couldn't achieve "dumb blonde" status.

it's nuanced.  worthy of a liberal arts PhD thesis from a liberal woke college.  Sociology, or Anthropology, something like that.  I don't think that would qualify for Psychology.
