Happy New Year! Once a year checks...

TIme to do your once a year checks.  Anything you suggest?

Replace batteries in optics and flashlights
Replace recoil springs and other wear items as needed.
Deep cleaning and oiling on guns and check for cracks and wear.
Change out carry ammo
Get out and practice if you haven't done so for a long time.

Quietshooter:  Replace electronic gun safe batteries

Also the batteries if you have an LED type keypad to open the door of your gun safe.

What if we had a social fun shoot where you have to use only your actual self defense pistol.

Just discovered a revolver that was leaning against some nylon and got rusty.
Bummed because it had sentimental value, but now I have an excuse to cerakote and take it hunting.
Time to 3d print some desiccant holders.

car in good working order, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, bugout bag, buy and/or make more ammo, reloading powder, projectiles, primers, food, water, brass, beer, whiskey, cigars

I found a bunch of cigars that got over-humidified, but this is warm Waipahu so they will dry up in a few days.
I also checked the house gun...I need some practice.
