Very weird and nothing makes sense.

It's easier to believe someone killed him to make it look like a suicide and had the truck autodrive to the hotel.

There's vid of the truck pulling into the hotel front driveway twice. Guess the spot in front the doors was taken by another car.

Does he have dark tint where a muzzle flash isn't seen?  Or the angle at which they claim he shot himself in the head blocked it?

NEW: Possible Motive in Cybertruck Explosion Revealed - Wife left Him.

Maybe she left him because he supported Trump and now he's mad at Trump.

edited to add:  My bad, article mentioned infidelity on his part might be the reason.

Even the interviewer and guest sound like stuff I would say.

Guy is SF and has the knowledge to make a VBIED if he wanted to, but used fireworks and gasoline.

Picked a car that is known to be "bulletproof", as to reduce casualties.

Uses Trump hotel because it will get more media attention.

Car can self drive to it's destination.

Why...the guy wanted a way to get information about war crimes and china drones.  This is the way to do it with little casualties.

I don't trust anyone with an intelligence organization on their resume, including Sam Shoemate and Sarah Adams.
The timing of these incidents is extremely suspect considering that the people who still stick to the story that building 7 collapsed due to a fire are all about to get fired.

Apparently his passport was made out of the same indestructible material as those of the 9/11 hijackers.

How many more times must we go through this?

Obfuscation
Story is a hard follow. Is it only as deep as the surface value or is it really a rabbit hole?  Obviously it would be lovely to take it as the simple explanation given, ptsd fueled event. Worst case is an elaborate convoluted conspiracy with deep implications.
I'll be waiting to see where it goes.

Seem the guy didn't want to kill anyone.  He wants to commit suicide and go out with a bang with a twisted sense of humor.  He could've killed a lot of people if he wanted to.

Passport could've stayed intact in his pants pocket if only the top half of him was fried.

Funny how we rarely hear WHERE the identification and passport recovered were located.  Could have been in a glove compartment, center console, door compartment, luggage, ....

I don't know of many US citizens actually in the US who would carry a US passport unless they are planning to leave the country in the immediate future.   If I wanted someone to easily identiy my burned body, I might stash my iD or passport in a space that is likely to survive a blast or fire.

People often assume the only reason someone burns their own body is to prevent identification.  Someone in the Army already has their DNA on file, so finding a passport is only one factor in identifying the body.  A forensic examination of the body would be able to verify any forms of identification found, just to make sure the ID matched the body.
