MAUI, Hawai'i (Island News) -- Some are questioning Gov. Josh Green's offer to temporarily house those displaced by the California wildfires in Hawai'i hotels, arguing the idea is insensitive as many of Maui's fire survivors are still struggling with housing.

"That doesn't make sense to me," said Lahaina fire survivor Frank Perry.

Our stupid governor cannot even clean his own house (the state) and he tries to clean other people's yards (kommiefornia).   :grrr:

The guys an opportunist.  At taxpayer's expense.  A Newsome with ugly hair.  And very little of it.
Sometimes you gotta know when to save your bullets.

What an idiot. Just the cost of getting them here would be a month(s) of rent as places driving distance from the fires.

I heard on the radio someone (I think whoever was advocating for this "program") mention to the effect that CA is very similar to HI.  Where he'd trust CA would extend same support if/when Hawaii was in need. .  GFTO. . .

That said, it's that kind of statements that local liberals seem to immediately buy into and start thinking it's a good thing. . . until those folks add to the homeless population. . .

Has CA offered to re-location for Maui?
