2025 LEGISLATIVE SESSION IS HERE
« on: January 16, 2025, 08:49:01 AM »
Pay attention to HIFICO, HI gun FB pages, and here for updates.

1) The coconut wireless is very powerful. Make sure you tell all your friends when things are due.
2) Submit testimonies and watch for the due dates as legally the state has to only give 48 hours notice.
3) Make the testimony about how it affects you, besides just stating "it's unconstitutional".  Politicians pay more attention if it has a personal touch.
4) If your politician is on the committee or for a floor vote, email or call them to tell them your stance and why (refer to #3 above also for this).

The saying, "no vote, no grumble" comes to mind. With the huge overhaul of the permit to acquire system that was with the sensitive places bill, not many cared to submit testimonies.  Then many complained that they had to re-take their class or cannot CCW anywhere.  For specifics, on average we got about 120 testimonies for this bill. Compare this to the rifle mag ban bill a few years prior, we got on average 1500 testimonies.

It's easier to defeat a bill than it is to file a lawsuit as a lawsuit not only cost money, but takes years. So far there are about 10 anti 2a bills already.

Thanks for posting updates here since I don’t do Zuckbook
If you dissolve your enemies in acid, technically that's turning your problems into a solution.

10 anti 2a bills already? How the f@&! can they get anymore anti 2a then they already are. Are they gonna start banning paintball and airsoft next? It's like Dem f@&!wads who run the show around here are declaring war on anything with a trigger, such hypocrites. They are fine with having armed security details but God forbid us Pleebs have anything of similar power when we have a run in with a road rage driver or a criminal gang in the wrong part of town! I guess they want us hardworking folks to die, remind me again, how can one make money off of a tax paying citizen when they are dead!

Are they counting on us folks to not have the foresight to write out a formal will or have heirs that can keep our money and property away from the state? In other words, easy pickings once the annoying deplorable riff raffe are out of the picture.

They want to take your guns away, so later they can do what ever they want to you.  They also count on that HI's attitude of no make humbug, lack of effort, and they will still get re-elected, just to name a few.

So far going by memory,

Ban on 50 cal
Ban on rifle mags over 10rds
Ban or gun parts
Require all guns to be sold with a trigger lock and stored with a trigger lock and other stuff. (3 versions of this bill are presented)
Ban on open carrying or concealing any bladed weapon, deadly or dangerous weapon, etc....
YOu must show proof that you own the gun for the caliber of ammo you want to buy

If that's the case then WTF are they waiting for? I am tired of these long drawn out democrip schemes, if they want to establish totalitarianism then why doesn't #immadoctor Green just activate the National Guard and shut down the islands again? Why pretend to hide your motives at this point when you have the power and can just mow in and neglect the laws that you a$$h0/3$ routinely ignore from the mainland in the first place! I'd rather they'd get it over with and take their masks (metaphorical ones) off because keeping your sheep's clothing on at this point is pointless and unnecessary.

You mean the "nail gets pounded" bull$%!+ I don't know about you folks on Oahu, but in my community for the past few years the "fear of reprisals" feels more and more like a paper tiger. Folks regularly race cars after 12 pm and there's a Police station right smack next to the highway they speed on. The cops from said station are not around to do anything about that as it happens! Also, there are homeless people wandering the street, including schizophrenic haole folks who are within walking distance from a school. Thankfully the terrets episodes are far between but that doesn't change the fact that folks like them need to be institutionalized.

Last but not least, the under-the-radar live off the land folks who (unofficially) move in, rent the camper trucks and camp out in the mountains and parks while avoiding the times when the DLNR agents would be up there to check if they have a permit!

So yeah, until folks in the community or law enforcement take action like in "da old days", the "no make humbug" might as well be a suggestion and not an order!

Ban on open carrying or concealing any bladed weapon, deadly or dangerous weapon, etc....

I thought that ban was recently lifted and we could pocket carry knives like butterfly and switchblades now.

IDK how to insert words like how you did so bare with me.

1) WTF are they waiting for?  Before you control the people, you need to disarm them.  Kicking doors in and going door to door to take guns away would end up the door kickers getting hurt.  So instead, you pass laws to delete the right to bear arms.  But, they know that they cannot delete it all at once. So little by little. Think of a frog in warm water reference. They also are attacking via the control of information.  How the fake news for decades have been telling people guns are bad.

Think of how the holocaust began. 1st they disarmed the jews, Most history books leaves this out. Then they had them register being a jew. Then forced out of their homes and moved in together. They didn't start by executing them from day 1.  They also had to control the flow of information to get the peoples support. Jews are bad type of propoganda and the German people believed it.

But in the US, we have the 2A, which is why it's harder to disarm the people compared to other countries. Our founding fathers were smart.  So refer to my statement about taking the right away slowly.

It isn't green, but it's his party and those above him. He's doing his part of making the water warmer.  Say he did activate the NG, you might have enough syaing that a total ban isn't constitutional and they might refuse orders or refer to my example above about damage.  I mean, I've seen HPD take peoples 1st amendment right away and 2A right away and enforce unconstitutional laws.  "Just following orders".

2) With regards to Skitzos, there's nothing illegal about being a skitzo and walking on the sidewalk. As long as they're not threatening anyone, no law is broken.

Karl Rhoads is the asshole who introduced the complete ban on carrying any sort of knife except for butterfly
and switchblades, which apparently couldn’t be included due to some technicality.  Thankfully it died because
it was overly broad.  Stock clerks, construction workers, even first responders wouldn’t be legally able to carry
a knife the way that dumbass wrote that bill.  I would have just ignored that law if it had passed anyway.
