Why is the sky blue?

i know a girl named Sky.  She isn't blue. So you're wrong as there are multiple definitions for the word sky.

You can try to define words but there will be some variation from dictionary to dictionary as well as in the way people actually use the word. Regardless we are not discussing the meaning of a word but whether it is a neutral term. No one here has disputed the meaning of the word fascinating.

Hahahahahhaha. Nice try.

It was too complicated to accurately align constellation FX in those days, so they just skipped it and made a lame excuse.

I've never stood on the moon, the pic could be fake.  Unless I've seen it for myself...#tinfoilpresident

If you've done any celestial photography, it takes a very long exposure to photograph stars due to the small amount of light that reaches the camera.  There's no reflected light from the Sun, and the starlight we do see has traveled many millions of miles before reaching Earth.

Unless you have an equatorial mount and motor to track the stars you are photographing, such a slow exposure would result in streaks caused by the rotation of the Earth.   From the Moon, a slow exposure would wash out the Moon's horizon and the image of the Earth while creating blurs of the stars -- not pinpoints of light.

I'm speaking from experience.  Our atmosphere has a lot to do with how much light reaches cameras on Earth and how long that light exists.

How many stars can you see in the daytime from Hawaii?  None?  I guess the stars must not exist in the daytime since you can't see them.    :tinfoil:

The moon has an atmosphere? Time to reprint some textbooks.

Where did I say that?

Lack of an atmosphere on the Moon was the point -- less light being reflected which makes getting photos of stars from the Moon harder.

Try reading for understanding rather than  latching onto things never said nor implied.

The Hubble telescope improves the ability to observe deep space objects in part by being above the Earth's atmosphere but mostly because it takes light from multiple exposures and creating an image from that composite.  So, before you go there, a composited photo from the Hubble is not the same as a simple film exposure from a 1960s camera.

If there’s no atmosphere then there’s nothing to bounce back the light. It just travels off into space uninterrupted.

Who filmed the small step for man btw? Or the lander taking off for that matter? Heckuva camera guy.

Look it up.  Light reflects and refracts inside the atmosphere.  it's why stars appear to twinkle.  Planets, on the other hand, don't twinkle.  That's partly because planets are brighter since the reflected light from our Sun is magnitudes brighter than the brightest star.

Light is comprised of many wavelengths, and our atmosphere only "bounces back" certain ones.  Not all wavelengths are visible to the human eye.

Hahahhaa, re-read what I posted. It's there. But you will ignore it once again because you refuse to be wrong.

You never proved anything to begin with. You are directing me to go back and look at your empty bucket as if it will be magically full. You can't even admit that there are variations to the meanings of words across the language

SSWWOOOOSSHHHH of course you would type this, instead of admitting your wrong.  Maybe I should start an EEF business of how many times he refused to admit he's wrong, then uses conflict tactics to try to negate it.

Redirect all the wasted energy into an EEF meme coin perhaps?

Too many coins would be issued which means each coin is devalued.

All I have to do to prove you wrong is post definitions from different dictionaries to show there is variation in the meaning of the words but you wouldn't click the links anyway so why bother? You are really going to pretend words have universal meaning with no variations? Talk about not admitting when you are wrong.
