I don't understand this one.

Is the current law that serialized components are "firearms" no matter what, but nonserialized parts are only a firearm if assembled into an operable firearm?

Are there actually a bunch of dudes roving around Oahu with unassembled homemade firearms in their pockets?

Yeah just let it rip. Stop trying to be so polite and reasonable with people who clearly don’t deserve it.

now you have to go find those missing detents and springs that were launched into outer orbit years ago.  not to mention that miniscule #4-40 set screw.  Good Luck with that!

Yea this bill doesn't make sense even through their eyes.

I don't see how restricting the transportation of firing pins and stuff helps with public safety.

Exactly what I said in my testimony
Unless you hit someone over the head with a rifle barrel. I'm being sarcastic of course. I didnt say that in my testimony

Im starting to think this is their pathway to regulating purchase/ ownership of parts. First set precedent that they can and have the authority/history to do so.

Their entire goal is to ban "assault rifles". Then later, pistols and they will use the precedent of rifle bans cause nationwide, ALL rifles kill 400 or less a year. Compared to 5,000 handgun homicides.

my rough count, including the late testimony, was 230 Oppose, 39 Support.

but I lost count a couple of times, so might be off by a few on the Oppose, I think I got the Support count right, though.

not counting the late submissions, might be 202 Oppose, 33 Support.

in that ballpark.
