It's amazing those against what Elon is doing who are regular people and not politicians.  Imagine you paying the IRS every year for your taxes and only to find out that you weren't supposed to pay that amount.  Then being mad at the person who found the overpayments.  TDS should really be included as a mental health disorder.

I think DOGE may be going too far in some areas and there is some reason for concern about their methods but for the most part I think they are doing a good job at finding waste.

I should have replied a different way to actually explain why I worded my comment the way I did, thats on me.

The reason I worded my statement that was is because there is so much unknown and so much bias in the reporting of what is know.
The liberal media and democrats is acting like Musk is Hitler and he is going to harvest all our personal data.
The right leaning media and Trump fanboys are acting like Musk is Jesus doing the lord's (Trump) work.

Figuring out where Musk is actually doing good and where he is actually going too far is quite difficult therefore I did not want to make any solid proclamations. It appears that there are good legitimate charitable expenditures that are being cut or paused which is or will result in the suffering of people in need which is why I said I think he is going too far in some areas but I also don't have a spreadsheet with line by line details of what is being cut and why so it would be jumping the gun for me to make a statement that is too specific and could be wrong.

If we can actually get a line by line report then by all means we can have an detailed nuanced discussion but all I see now is grandstanding by both sides and finding the truth in it all is not easy.
