Mauka Makai ?  The range is in a valley.

Isn't the archery range Makai ?

The archery range faces the mountain.

The action bays face the ocean ( kind of)

I am surprised you would even think about shooting any 5.56 or .308. Way to expensive to replace if you can even find any anywhere. Craziness at mainland stores
Thats why all I shoot is 22 fir practice and centerfire before a match.

People ahve bought up all the factory ammo here on the mainland and even components to reload are drying up. Seriously crazy.

thanks guys.

as far as only shooting .22, i have work on weekends and classes during the week, so i cant shoot that much since school started back up.

i dont mind blowing 2-300 rounds of .223, i have 800 and i'd be surprised if i go through all that by the summer, i just dont have that much opportunity to go through the range

I inquired about it in November and was told to the same thing, put the application in and wait my turn. I figured I just let someone else get a chance. I regret not applying before when I still was in the IRR.

Membership renewals come up in middle of summer, at least I think.  Last year, a bunch of associate members were late on their renewal and some were dropped, making room for new members.

I thought the last newsletter, or maybe it was the previous one, mentioned something like 10 openings.

If you know an active duty guy(s) get on them to join up.  More active duty peeps the more associate members get in and yes the renewals are in summer so that's the time to check up on applying.

I hope when I joined more slots opened up. :)
Any members got the dimensions for target frames so I can make up my 12 hour commitment?
