Sometimes other people shoot your Target for you. People seem to like them but don't bring their own.  Last time I went the guy next to me set up a steel Target and you could hear it ringing constantly even when he wasn't firing.

Other neighbors get mad too sometimes cause the shrapnel fucks up their frames and puts holes in it.

If you don't got a plate yet I got one for sale.

As long as its ar500 your good at 100 yds. You can have .22 swings at 50.  I have 3 ar500 plates on a wood target frame I made and have never been hassled by an RO.

They're punk azzs. You should shoot out their target frames. I had two people once shoot at my target (a reduced sized bullseye for highpower) to zero their rifle. I was wondering how these holes appeared without me shooting >:(

yep. nothing wrong with it. I got there and waited like everyone else. I fire one shot every half hour to let my barrel cool between shots. I did not violate any rules at the range. You got a problem with that? Bring up to Mike.

I've used 3/8 and 1/2 steel plates for the.22 at 50 yds with no problems. At 100 yds I've used 1/2 inch steel plates and with an ar 15 those plates got worked. Rounds went right thru the plates like nothing. Even Mike the range officer had a good laugh at those. Supposedly you can use 3/8 inch ar500 steel plates for 100 yds. Will see when I get those in

5.56 leaves no dents or impressions on 3/8" ar500 at 100 yards.

I was shooting a 22lr spinner target at 50 yards and someone shot it with a 7.62x39.

It cut through the mild steel like a hot knife through a warm stick of butter.

I knew the guy who did it too.

He laughed and then apologized.

that's pretty fken dick.  I would be pissed if i brought steel targets and people started shooting them.  Especially if i was in KK's shoes where it was only a rimfire rated target and some asshole destroys it with 7.62x39 rounds.  People like that should be banned from any and all shooting ranges.

No, I wish.

It was amazing how the AK round literally burned a hole clear through the spinner.

Eye opener.

Kk was that your friend that shot it?

As far as steel targets, I'm not sure if people are doing it on purpose or not, but even regular frames get shot by the wrong people. Someone else posted that all the benches are not aligned with the frame holes. And sometimes someone's frame at 50yrds is directly in line with someone's frame at 100yrds.  Hard to explain, maybe someone else could do a better job. Regardless though, I'm sure you know if you put a steel gong out or not.

Be sure of your target and what is beyond....  Even if you set up your target off line you shouldn't be confused about which one to shoot at.  It is only 100yrds Jeeezz. :P
