As the title says, the National Rifle Association is once again having a $300 Life Membership sale.  Regular price is $1000 and currently on sale for $600 unless you can get another Life Member (or higher) to sponsor you.

There's a lot of new members on this forum since the reelection and firearmageddon, and this post is for you guys as well as anyone who was a little late for the last sale and your little ones.. I'm not too sure.  Last year, I signed up a friend on my dime around February or March.  I don't remember when they took down the nra-2012.org link.

just paid mine off. They did ask for a family member or friend for $300 Life membership. I asked around to no avail

I almost paid $1000 for my life membership in 2011...Lucky for me I called and the operator offered me $600 for life after I asked to enroll in Easy Pay Life with a $500 down payment.

I prefer American Rifleman.

I was on hold on the NRA's membership department for half an hour before they finally picked up...

I asked how long it takes to get the membership processed and they said 24-48 hours.  Apparently having a name wasn't enough and they wanted a zip code too, which I didn't have.  If you haven't received anything yet, I can call them again with your zip code when I have time or you can try at: 1-800-NRA-3888 (1-800-672-3888).
