LOL maybe when he started talking in a British accent... Part 1 was pretty good though. What I like the most is he shut him out on his own show. Piers just wanted to bring up the firearms deaths in Briton while ignoring the fact that violent crime rose. I think Alex is right when he says the problem is all the drugs and anti-psychotics people are taking that  are conveniently left out of the conversation when guns are involved... Even if he didn't use those terms.

Yeah, the conspiracy Theory stuff about 9/11 turned me off to the whole interview. To me he came off as a nut job after he Piers directed him to that subject.

That is why I think they broke it down to two parts.

Just because some of the things he says and believes may be a out there, it doesn't mean the premise of his argument doesn't have merit. As for the 9/11 stuff I for one do not believe it was an inside job, but I have seen some interesting things that I could see how people come to that determination. That crap is all over the place and in the end it is up to the consumer to determine what they believe or not.

its not that i dont think he doesnt make some good points, at least on this subject.

but a broken clock is right twice a day.

his conspiracy theory crap removes any credibility he would have in a debate.  thats just how it is.  i just cant take him seriously.  he has some good ideas and stuff, but he ruins it for himself with his paranoia.

that's just my opinion.

Only to those who don't look at the whole picture. He makes money that way. Will it help in the Gun Debate... No. But what will possibly air on CNN that will? His theatrics in the second part are what ruined it because he was acting like a child. His paranoia only seems that much more extreme with how he is acting. Look at some of the information he presents through other forums and it doesn't seem so crazy, mostly because it usually involves some sort of reference.

Let me ask you something. Do you believe in everything that you are fed by the media or the government?

This segment amounts to what all 24 hour media outlets are... entertainment.

And that is exactly why Morgan brought him on the show.  What credibility does he have to talk about the Second Amendment?  I mean, sure, he's a big Constitutional rights guy, but there are hundreds of other guys out there who head up organizations that focus exclusively on the topic of the interview.  It doesn't matter if Jones made good points or shut the limey up on his own show; all the viewers saw was some guy who's purportedly a representative of the pro-gun side, raving like a lunatic.  Even if Piers hadn't opened his mouth, this whole interview was a loss for the pro-civil rights crowd.

My question had nothing to do with Alex Jones personal beliefs. However, that wouldn't necessarily indicate believing the government. It is more of an attempt of using the information the government is putting out against those in the government who say absurd things about assault weapons. I don't know what Alex Jones believes truly. I am sure much of the stuff he latches on to he does so because there is a market for it.

I asked the question because I think people should be skeptical of any source of information.

It undoubtedly played to how those that are anti-gun would like to portray pro gun individuals. We have already been labeled racist fear monger lunatics. I don't think most people see gun owners as crazy regardless of this show... because I think most people own guns or know normal people that do and understand the premise of defending ones self and family. Though I do believe people are getting confused with what they are presented non stop in school and in the media. Just like Eric Holder said, they want to "brainwash" children. As I said before i think the 1st part is where the message was mostly on topic. After the break it got out of control. That is why most of the conservative sites are only linking to the first video.

Yeah, some of them are way out there, but I guess things like fast and furious would be just conspiracy theories if people wouldn't have gone public. I mean who would think that people would actually try to get innocent people killed to push an agenda? Especially in the justice department.

Conspiracies are bs. Why would the most powerful people in the world get together to screw everyone over? That would never happen.

Not one (or 2) I'd like to forward to anyone.  However, I sorta liked that he was reversing the interruption tactic used by most anti-gun "interviewers."
I do believe that the radical and crazy notion that the Founders meant what they said, is gradually soaking through the judicial system.
