I had a minor bend on my slide rail as i tried forcing a backplate in and tapped the rail with a small hammer 🤦‍♂️ I bent it back as best i could. It slides back on the frame, I used snap caps and racked the slide to make sure it cycles and it does. Havent gone to a range to test fire it.Is there anything i should worry about? Picture is of after i bent it back to normal.

Worst case...backplate and parts launching into your face because of the violent action of the slide.  Just make sure there is enough support on both sides of the backplate in the slide.  How do you bend the slide installing the backplate?

Yeah, i think it took me two videos to understand how to get the rear slide cover off/replaced.  You have to release the tension on the firing pin spring to allow the cover to slide out while making sure you don't let that spring launch out of the rear of the slide.

Replacement is just the revere.  Slow and careful is all you need to do it right.
