« on: July 05, 2025, 12:15:46 AM »
Hey everyone, I am looking for some recommendations on a good Instructor to learn Good Firearm defensive skills. (Improve my draw, Improve my accuracy, became a better overall shooter)

I am located on Oahu.

I am new to this forum, so any help that you all can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to start with a handgun, 9mm.

Learn to shoot slowly and accurately first.

X-Ring used to to evening classes 2x a month, I did a rifle class and a few handgun classes including one low-light with flashlights/WMLs.  Alot of classes were setup tournament style.  The classes were cheap, and really fun I wish they would start doing them again - I tell them everytime I go

Next one is next Saturday. Have to sign up in person or call to get added to the list. It used to be online, but it would get over booked. The xring instagram post frequently about it.

Tell me a bit about yourself and what got you into shooting.
