May he Rest in Peace.  I played trumpet and fantasized that I could be as good as him as well as Herb Alpert.

We lost a lot of influential people these past few days. :(

As of 2023, the life expectancy for males in the United States is approximately 75.8
years. This figure reflects a slight increase from previous years, but it remains lower
than the life expectancy for females, which is about 81.1 years.

What's going on is people who are/were popular are getting old and reaching their expiration dates.

Yep.  That's why I retired at 63 1/2 years old.

When I was young and still working it was "All about them". (my loved ones.)

Now it's "All about me".  (surrounded by my loved ones....)

Hmmm, if 75.8 years is average for American male, lucky I stay live Hawaii which is 77.6 years.

Today I make 75 years 3 months.  I look on da bright side, I might not have to go through the hassle of renewing my driver license.

I might expire before it does, although I was hoping to outlive my brother who will be 86 in September.

I have to re-new my license this year.  I made an appointment for August.  This might possibly be my last re-newal.

Although I'm at that stage in life where I'm grateful for every day that I wake up to breathe another day, it might come to the point where I might have to do the responsible thing and take myself as a driver off the road.

My eyesight is deteriorating.  I am currently under glaucoma care.

Thank God I have wonderful kids and that they still love me.  ;)  I'll just bribe them to take me if I need to go somewhere. ;D

Wtf is going on with all these deaths?

It’s only going to get worse. Most people aren’t ready to accept what they did to themselves, meanwhile the clock is running out for their window to mitigate the damage.
I’m becoming clinically undepressed and thinking about beginning it all.
