If memory serves me right, Obama deported more migrants than Trump did in his first term.
He also built and housed kids in those infamous chain link cages that the left tried to blamed on
Trump. Hillary did have a strict public policy on migrants until she ran for POTUS.
Politicians tend to bend with the prevailing political winds in order to appear that they care.
This is especially the case when they know they will be on the local 6pm news or on CNN.

On a side note I also recall the hilarious footage of Bill Clinton laughing and joking while walking with
a crowd at Ron Browns funeral. As soon as Bill saw the news camera on him, he put his head down
and wiped his eye with his hand. The rest of the crowd of Clinton staffers and buddy boys did not see
the camera and they continued to laugh at Bills jokes. 

Secretary Brown died in a plane crash. It was alledged that the cause of death was a .45" hole thru

(CBP) tracks is how many “encounters” there are between its agents and migrants
seeking to cross illegally. (This is a measure of individuals encountered, so if Border
Patrol encounters a group of 10 migrants, that counts as 10 encounters.)

Under the Biden administration, there have been 6.4 million encounters outside
official ports of entry along the southern border so far, with the yearly average
