Believe me, things will not get better. It's like a cancer. LE is overwhelmed, understaffed, with no incentive to attract the best and the brightest. This in turn will force LE to settle for lower standard candidates who in turn will produce questionable results out in the field.
People in Hawaii have no balls or guts to undo their propensity to vote demorat even though they see the corruption and no results happening. Their jobs and their unions depend on that demorat they were "told" to vote for.
The justice system will continue to believe that criminal lives are precious and deserve 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th (add any number here) chances while extending "thoughts" and "prayers" to the families of loved ones while they are thrown to the curb with lifelong sufferings with no sense of justice for their loved ones. Prisons are too crowded. It is inhumane to have someone who has raped, murdered, and dismembered a child to endure such conditions. They have rights.........

There appears to be no civil solution on the horizon, which is why we discipline ourselves to be, however reluctantly, the ones who will hold the line at the collapse.
