All I can say, as someone who grew up in the 1960's, and has been watching this subversion unfold and accelerate over the course of his life, is that there are a bunch of dead soviets being buggered in hell for all eternity - who are still managing to crack a smile at the unbelievable success of the infiltration and insinuation of their toxic seed into the culture and institutions of the west.

For example, the UK is now effectively behind the iron curtain, the Stasi run things there now.

The advent of the internet & "smart" phones & "social" media, along with the total infiltration of the educational system from kindergarten through college, has turbocharged indoctrination - but the plan is as old as tyranny itself:

At any rate, this is not some vexing problem whose mysterious outline we must somehow grasp in the dark - "oh how could this happen!" - it's been right there in our faces for decades.

People are only shocked now because they haven't been paying attention, have not been stamping it out, but have let it run its own course unhindered, until it leads to its natural conclusion, which is the robotic violence we are seeing now.

The time for questions was decades ago - the country gave it a pass.

Not to belittle the dangers but the social media sites are notorious for their bot farms and AI has already been weaponized for behavior modification.
