Cool.

Each red state should pick something produced in CA that it, or another red state, produces, and then ban the CA produced product, on the grounds that CA has failed to take sufficient action to prevent their product from being altered after sale or used in a way that is inappropriate or unsafe.

Let them go to court, and drag it out forever.  Force another 20% of their remaining tax base to flee like bats out of hell.

Then hold a Newscum appreciation day everywhere that profited from the legislation at CA’s expense.

Force is all they understand.

I think instead, all gun makers, ammo, and accessories should cease doing business with CA or any LEO agency where their voters cannot buy the same product.

Good point - I’m pretty sure there are more that do this now  -  I know I’ve seen it recently, besides of course Barrett:

“Barrett will not sell to or service any California, New York or New Jersey government agencies.”

i think there are many companies who can't and won't do business in CA.  i doubt it's better now, but the approved handgun list was so out of date, and the approval process so difficult, many chose not to even try.  Others tried, but then ran into problems where only their 5, 10 or 20 year models old remained on the list as the newer ones for whatever reason were not approved.

Quote
The California approved handgun list, known as the Roster of Certified
Handguns, includes models that have passed safety and performance
tests required by the state. For 2025, notable brands on the list include
Glock, Sig Sauer, and Springfield Armory, among others.

The following handgun models have been recently added to the
DOJ Handgun Roster and may be sold, manufactured, etc., within
California unless such sale, manufacture, etc., is otherwise prohibited
under California law.

Thats for civilians. I meant for LEO or government agencies.

Imagine all of them unarmed. There would be no anti 2a laws.
