I picked up some M18 Forge batteries at Home Depot. Their Black Friday sale started on Nov 5th but the website kept showing a lot of the "get one free" specials as out of stock. I kept coming back and checking and finally the Forge batteries showed up for a minute before disappearing again.

For anyone into power tools:

The older m18 milwaukee batteries don't balance the charge between cells and as a result the ones rated over 5ah have a high number failures. The Forge batteries use flat cells instead of 18650s and other than being a little wider are far superior in every way.

It burns my bacon that milchinee keeps selling the old 8ah+ batteries even though they are a total scam, and if I had to do it all over again I would have invested in Makita. Hopefully this helps somebody out.

I've carried the same pocket knife for over 20 years and thinking about switching to an OTF knife.  What are a few good websites to look at?  Thanks

My wife and I are looking into buying a play tent for our grandkids.  Good Black Friday prices.

She told me to pick one.  So I chose one I thought would be good.

Turns out it is a play tent for girls.

My two grandkids are boys....... :-[

There have been lots of pre-Thanksgiving Black Friday "sale" videos on YT demonstrating how some stores are simply replacing the everyday sales prices signs with "Black Friday Special" signs -- but with the exact same prices as before.

Bought a bunch of trauma aid supplies and kit from Dark Angel Medical using my FSA funds and BF specials.

Nothing spectacular, kayak hoist, smoke alarms. Vertx pants.

I got a few canisters of the freeze dried strawberries for $17 for give aways.  Use em to make desserts, smoothies, or eat em for snacks.

I finally broke down and bought a power washer because there have been a lot of messes to clean up recently.
