The NFL is all about money.  More than anything else.  ANYTHING.

If it brings the views, then that's what they go with.

There was a time once when I was an avid fan of the NFL and the Steelers were my team.  During the years of the terrible towel.

I also believe there were more fans of NFL football back then than now.

There is speculation that NFL is trying to expand to other countries in the Americas which could explain the halftime show being in spanish. Makes more sense if viewed in that angle, new market = more money.

I found it odd that they didn't at least include subtitles though.

Ultimately I don't care because I don't watch sports, don't care about music, and it was ultimately heavily politicized by all the people instantly rushing to say whether it was better or the TPUSA show was better.

Dan Bongino show mentions that the winning players get a bonus of $178,000.  But due to taxes, they must also pay 3.5% of their base income.  So some end up paying $250K in taxes for playing in CA.  WHich means a loss of $70K to play in the superbowl.

I'm going to assume this is accurate as Bongino post majority accurate stuff.

My deaf cousin was with us watching the game.  We had closed caption on for him and the subtitles o nthere were in spanish.

It's telling (if true) that the NFL is more about marketing an annual halftime performance than promoting their main season-long product: US Football.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world;
the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.
Therefore, all progress depends on the unreasonable man.
