Two men were hospitalized after they were apparently stabbed in Chinatown and Downtown, Honolulu Emergency Medical Services said.

On Feb. 23 at approximately 10:36 a.m., two men, 60 and 55, had suffered apparent stab wounds.

According to the Honolulu Police Department, the 55-year-old man was stabbed at a bus stop near Smith Street and Beretania Street by a 30-year-old woman.

The woman then got onto a city bus, where she then allegedly stabbed the 60-year-old man near the South King Street and Punchbowl Street intersection, police said.

No.

But what’s critical is to crush CCW in Hawaii.

That way they can ensure the safety of people who go around trying to stab others to death.

“The history of the Hawaiian Islands does not include a society where armed people move about the community to possibly combat the deadly aims of others.”

- Hawaii Supreme Court Clown Pennywise Eddins

This is unusual, a 30 year old female.  I wonder if cat calling and she was having a bad day.

But to answer OP's title, yes there was. They wanted to ban open carrying of bladed weapons.

Perhaps the city council will pass a requirement that requires all knives to be locked up in a secure container prior to boarding the bus.

The decision whether or not to resist was the most critical decision any living person at that time could make.

Some chose poorly.

If this does become a reality, I propose these high pay for doing little city council members draft a plan to have The Bus equipped with security lockers just for this specific purpose.

I mean, they want it, they provide the means for it.

Hmm, all this and still walking free to stab people.
