Yes!  Yes!  A man with many names!  A King!  A Doctor!  Governor of Hawaii!

Soooooo many names and I bet a few others that can't be mentioned!

Friends don't care, neighbors don't care...they call it the "price of paradise" semantics, legal corruption.

Well, anyway, if this doesn’t convince people that there’s something extremely fishy with Green’s obsession with emergency powers (essentially unlimited at the outset of any declaration), then nothing will.

Been here 52 years: Never had an emergency declaration for a storm during the rainy season.  Never seen the island close up for 3 days because it’s cloudy.

They’re treating this as if it’s a Cat 5 hurricane - and it’s of course not.

Seriously, if this doesn’t make your spidey senses go off, then you probably ain’t got em.

With the way all the meatpuppets are falling in line, it’s beginning to give off a real COVID-era vibe.

A trial run at just dropping an emergency declaration for any excuse, and gauging the response?

Been here close to 70 years.  And I too have never heard of a governor declaring emergency powers just for some random stupid storm.

And all this talk about being safe, drive only if you have to, prepare, check on neighbors and kupuna,

YET THE SCHOOLS REMAIN OPEN.

Emergency urgencies, declarations, proclamations, yada yada yada but they aren't concerned about children and parents being out and about in a (GASP,) RANDOM STORM.......

I'm glad I have spidey senses.  Mine is the North Shore cane spider kind.  The spookiest kind.  Used to be all over the fricken place when I was growing up next to the cane fields in the 60's.  Especially when it's time to burn the cane for harvest.  Those damn things came running out of the fields and into our house! :shake:

But yeah.  Another social engineering experiment is in the works.  They testing the waters.

Absolutely.

…. and nothing more friggin wicked-looking and BIG and viscous-fast as the cane spider.

We got em here by the stream in Kalihi too.

Absolutely hate going under the house to check stuff.

For those who (fortunately) don’t know …

Green seems quick to delcare an emergency.  The last one, in town was nothing. Saw vids of the west side and yes there was some flooding and heavy rain, but nothing out of the usual.

Maybe he's doing this so they can spend money on things?  Thus funding his supporters.

This one is worst. Last one, Moiliili to Kakaako was dry.

This one, raining normally and off and on in same area.

So if town is raining, west side must be hit even harder.
